The InterContinental Samui Baan Taling Ngam Resort sits perched on the western coast of Thailand’s third largest island, boasting views of the Gulf of Thailand and the five islands beyond. The resort’s spacious rooms and villas are designed with traditional Thai features like vaulted ceilings, ornate fretwork, and intricate, open-air sala pavilions inspired by Buddhist temples. Baah Thai Spa sits nestled on a cliff overlooking Taling Ngam Bay, surrounded by a lush forest of banyan & palm trees. The spa specializes in relaxation treatments, utilizing local tropical elements, like Thai oil, kaffir lime leaf, and Samui Island Coconut husks. At Amber Restaurant, which overlooks the Gulf of Thailand, Master Chef Tao infuses Thai classics with his own style, dishing up rich Kurobuta Pork Chops. On the beach, guests can dine by lantern and torchlight at Flames Restaurant, specializing in curries and grilled seafood. The area’s seclusion, relaxed atmosphere, and reputation for brilliant sunsets earned The InterContinental Samui the title of “Leading Honeymoon Resort” in Asia.

A beautifully located hotel with great service and stunning views. Breakfast was very good, other restaurants were over priced and ok. We found a beach restaurant 15 mins walk right along the beach called Sunset View Restaurant, excellent service, food, price and location and they offer free transport from the Intercontinental. It's a must

Fantistic time during my vacation at the hotel for 3 days 2 nights. All the staff are very helpful, always give you a hand without you ask for. The are variety of outdoor activities : both water activities and bicycle riding with good equipment and helpful staff. It’s very peaceful and beautiful beach, not too crowded or noisy, great for relaxing. The breakfast was good. I also buy club access which is a nice experience together with perfect view and again very friendly staffs. Our ocean room is very nice - clean and large with boutique styles decoration. Overall I’m really love this hotel and plan to come back here again for sure, good for both kids and elderly. Wonderful

Our stay in A Club Pool Villa was amazing. The bed was extremely comfortable and the pool and gardens were very well maintained. We were well looked after by the staff especially Jonathon and Ter. The location sensational. A Truly memorable stay.

Beautiful resort very peaceful. Staff wonderful and very helpful from booking yours, welcoming us and check in was very efficient. Our housekeeper was exceptional! Air Bar was a beautiful place to relax with a cocktail and watch the sunset. Will go back a restful place.

The hotel is perched high up on a hill with great views of both the sea and the fields surrounding it. The infrastructure is well thought out, with various pools at lookout points, as well as access to a rather secluded beach with some water sport equipment provided by the hotel. Service at the hotel was excellent, and they were able to use the hotel buggy to bring us to and from a local nearby eatery that did not require traversing on main roads to get to. Lounge happy hour has an amazing ambience against the sunset view and has decent F&B offerings. Breakfast was also of commendable standard.
