Renovated in 2014, Nikki Beach Resort Koh Samui is the slickest member of the global Nikki Beach brand, whose Miami Beach flagship earned the reputation as being the sexiest place on Earth, according to The London Observer. Indeed, the Beach Club is the place to be in Koh Samui – Sunday parties are epic, and the signature mojitos go down smooth. During the rest of the week, the atmosphere is more laid back. Don’t miss Wednesday night’s Cinema on the Sand, when classic movies accompany gourmet cuisine by the Bay of Thailand.

I visited the swimming pool and had a great experience. The staff were very friendly, especially “Noi,” who took excellent care of me. After that, I went to the restaurant downstairs. The food was delicious, although the price was slightly on the higher side. The service at the restaurant was also impressive. “zine and Kwan” were very attentive and kept checking if I needed anything else. Overall, I was very pleased with the experience.

What an outstanding stay. The hotel is beautiful. True paradise in a lovely setting. We loved every part of it. Breakfast was delightful, we enjoyed yoga and Pilates with Rain, the beach club party was also fun. Highly recommend I can’t wait to stay again. In particular, thank you to Carenan and Jeje breakfast.

Mixed experience. The food and drinks were good, but overall we expected a much better experience. The place felt poorly maintained – our sunbed was dirty, there were bird droppings on the table, and several stones in the pool were cracked and loose, which seemed unsafe. Service was inconsistent. The male staff were friendly, but the woman assigned to our area was mostly on her phone and never really came to us. We ended up having to go order ourselves, even though service is supposed to happen at the sunbed. We also didn’t feel properly welcomed on arrival. We were also required to prepay 7000 THB, which made the experience feel very expensive for what you actually get in return. We visited in mid-April, so maybe it’s not peak season, but that shouldn’t affect basic cleanliness and service. It was also my birthday, which we had mentioned in advance hoping for a small gesture or surprise. Instead, my partner was told he could buy a bottle of champagne for 11,500 THB, which felt quite impersonal. Overall, good food and drinks, but poor value for money and not an experience we would recommend.

I stayed at the resort last month with my friends and we went to the escape (the restaurant on site), I wanted to share the appreciation for Khun Kwan — she was so helpful and have a lovely personality as well as her energy to make sure the clients are happy. Thank you so much Khun Kwan.

Wow where do i start? We are missing it already and have only been gone a few hours. This is hands down the best hotel we have stayed at in thailand. Not one bad thing to say. It was perfect. It was my partners birthday when we were there and they made it so special when we didn’t even tell them? The lengths they go to make you happy is amazing. Will definitely be coming back here.
