The Ritz-Carlton, Koh Samui

The spa was transformative. The massage therapists (Saow and Som) made both of our spa experiences (we had services on 2 different days) very special and set the bar high for any massages we get from now on. Please make sure you request them specifically—you will not be disappointed. I wish they worked at a spa near our home in the US! Saan also took great care of us with delicious refreshments in our relaxed state after our massages. Everything at the Ritz Carlton and Spa Village Koh Samui was best of the best. Room was beautiful and very well attended to. Resort has its own beautiful, private beach. All dining experiences were some of the best we have had. Everyone taking care of us was so friendly and beautiful.

As soon as you enter, there is a large garden that you can see why it is a village from the name, so you can relax from the atmosphere. ✨🙌 I loved the kind care from arrival to end! RINA and JEAB's massage skills were really good, and SAAN's kindness to the last tee made me feel good until the end 😸

My husband and I had a wonderful stay in Pool Villa 9003! This villa was very central to most of the restaurants, bars, the spa, and the main pool, each of which we could walk to, yet it was still very private. It was very quick to retrieve the golfcart/buggy service for anything out of walking distance. Our villa was plenty big for the two of us and had fantastic amenities inside and outside. The private pool was shaded a good portion of the day, and there were two separate sitting areas outside, one of which was shaded. We happened to check-in on my birthday and the team there presented me with a bouquet of lotus flowers - thank you! Another 'thank you' to Harris who took great care of us at multiple dining spots throughout our stay. The team in the lobby was very happy to help with any requests we had, they even exchanged USD to THB for us. Two must-see/do's at the resort: The Baan Talat Market and the Fire Show at Sea Breeze Grill. Our favorite meal was at One Rai. I hope that some day we can make our way back to the Ritz Carlton Koh Samui, it was a beautiful resort on a beautiful island!

What a fantastic place this is, from the moment we arrived, we were greeted with nothing but smiles, professionalism and respect. Every member of staff regardless of their position was an absolute credit to this hotel, (A special mention to Lucky, who welcomed us and showed us to our room and gave us a guided tour of this very impressive hotel). The food was amazing including the breakfast, and you really have to be hard to please if you do not like anything that is on offer. A huge thank you to you all for creating a memorable holiday which we will never forget.

We stayed at The Ritz-Carlton, Koh Samui in March 2026 as a family of six, occupying three x one bedroom pool villas—and the experience was truly exceptional from start to finish. The villas themselves were stunning, with breathtaking sea views, spacious layouts, and a real sense of luxury. The bedrooms were cool and quiet, and Housekeeping was excellent with the rooms cleaned daily to a high standard. What truly made the stay unforgettable was undoubtedly the staff. Jinn was outstanding—she went above and beyond to organise every aspect of our trip, from restaurant bookings to boat trips and visits to an elephant sanctuary. She was incredibly attentive and always available, responding quickly with helpful information whenever we needed it. All of the staff we encountered were lovely, and in particular Ton and Beer who drove the buggy carts around the resort were consistently friendly and fun. Jib at the bar was chatty and engaging, while Sai at reception made us feel immediately at home with her warm and professional welcome. The breakfasts were exceptional with everything you could possibly want, and Ping, who oversaw the staff, managed to combine utter professionalism with a friendly charm, making each morning a real highlight of our stay. The amenities were fantastic, and the grounds were beautifully kept. Every member of staff contributed to making our stay seamless and enjoyable. I would 100% recommend this hotel—it’s not only a fantastic destination in its own right but also a perfect representation of the high standards you’d expect from Ritz-Carlton properties worldwide. 10/10.
