We stayed at The Ritz-Carlton, Koh Samui in March 2026 as a family of six, occupying three x one bedroom pool villas—and the experience was truly exceptional from start to finish. The villas themselves were stunning, with breathtaking sea views, spacious layouts, and a real sense of luxury. The bedrooms were cool and quiet, and Housekeeping was excellent with the rooms cleaned daily to a high standard. What truly made the stay unforgettable was undoubtedly the staff. Jinn was outstanding—she went above and beyond to organise every aspect of our trip, from restaurant bookings to boat trips and visits to an elephant sanctuary. She was incredibly attentive and always available, responding quickly with helpful information whenever we needed it. All of the staff we encountered were lovely, and in particular Ton and Beer who drove the buggy carts around the resort were consistently friendly and fun. Jib at the bar was chatty and engaging, while Sai at reception made us feel immediately at home with her warm and professional welcome. The breakfasts were exceptional with everything you could possibly want, and Ping, who oversaw the staff, managed to combine utter professionalism with a friendly charm, making each morning a real highlight of our stay. The amenities were fantastic, and the grounds were beautifully kept. Every member of staff contributed to making our stay seamless and enjoyable. I would 100% recommend this hotel—it’s not only a fantastic destination in its own right but also a perfect representation of the high standards you’d expect from Ritz-Carlton properties worldwide. 10/10.

Our stay at The Ritz-Carlton, Koh Samui was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, the setting was breathtaking—perched on a hillside with sweeping ocean views, lush greenery, and a sense of calm that instantly makes you unwind. What truly made the experience unforgettable, though, was the staff. Ping, one of the managers went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect, always greeting us warmly and anticipating our needs before we even had to ask. Ton was equally fantastic—professional, attentive, and genuinely kind, adding a personal touch to every interaction. Jib, the bartender, who made our evenings something to look forward to. Not only were the cocktails expertly crafted, but Jib’s friendly personality made the whole experience even more enjoyable. A very special mention has to go to Jin, who took incredible care in organising so many of our restaurant bookings and day trips. Everything was seamless and thoughtfully arranged, which made our stay completely stress-free and allowed us to fully enjoy the island. It really made a huge difference to our overall experience. Genuinely the most professional, helpful and kind person. The villas were stunning—spacious, beautifully designed, and immaculately maintained. Every detail felt considered, from the comfort of the bed to the private pool and panoramic views. The food across the resort was also excellent, with a wide variety of options and consistently high quality. Overall, this was a truly memorable stay. The combination of a spectacular location, luxurious accommodations, and outstanding staff made it a place we’d return to without hesitation. Highly highly recommended.

we had a fantastic week. the staff could not do enough to make our stay a five star experience. Front Ton the happy Leeds supporting buggie driver to Mr jib the fantastic friendly bar tender, to Ping who could not do enough for us during our meals and in and around the resort. However the star of the show was Jinn who was on hand every single day and even set up a WhatsApp group with all my family to be on hand 24hrs a day to arrange everything from elephant tours to boat tours. Jinn you are a supper star and the main reason we will be coming back. we all miss the Ritz Carlton sooooo much. Thomas you have a wonderful group of humans working there you should be proud. The UK hospitality bosses should go and stay at the Ritz and see how its done. thank you thank you thank you. Ross Stewart
