Its stylish split-level villas offer the opportunity to gaze onto mountains and sea from almost everywhere you stand, and most feature private pools and indulgent outdoor daybeds. Among the generous amenities is the bounty of Mother Nature - 270-degree views of the surrounding sea and outlying islands, The award-winning restaurant of Six Senses Samui, Dining on the Rocks, established its enviable reputation by offering New Asian Cuisine coupled with a stunning panoramic view out to the Gulf of Siam. Raising the bar even higher, the latest innovation to come out of the kitchen is called Modern Interpretive Cuisine. We truly enjoyed our stay at Six Senses Samui. Noom (our personal Guest Experience Maker) was incredibly helpful and attentive, making our experience seamless from start to finish. The breakfast was excellent, the spa massages were outstanding, and the hotel itself is beautiful. Our villa was very private, comfortable, and offered a stunning view. The entire team was kind, professional, and always willing to help. Overall, our stay was wonderful, and we left very happy with our experience.

This is not a luxury resort, it’s worn out and needs rebuilding, staff are hopeless food is like school dinners, checked out shortly after arriving.

Our stay at Six Senses was truly exceptional. From the moment we arrived until we left, the service was outstanding - warm, attentive and genuinely caring. We travelled with our baby, and everything was perfectly arranged, making the stay completely stress-free. The room was beautiful, the food was fantastic, and the spa was outstanding. The level of service was consistently high throughout our stay. A place where you really feel looked after. We couldn’t recommend Six Senses more and would love to return.

Six Senses is my favorite resort brand, and I have previously visited Six Senses Laamu and Koh Samui. Last week, our family returned to Six Senses Samui, marking our second visit; our first was in 2019. The resort has remained unchanged, with all facilities well maintained. The environment continues to be peaceful and natural, resembling a jungle—you can hear the birds singing and squirrels climbing the trees. As usual, mosquito control is excellent. We love this place for its consistently relaxing atmosphere. A standout feature of the resort is its prime location for enjoying stunning sunrises and sunsets. If you love photography, this is the perfect place to capture breathtaking views. During our stay, we enjoyed meals at breakfast, lunch, and dinner. All the food was of very high quality, even for kids, and the meal prices were quite reasonable. We also indulged in the spa services, which were exceptional; I thoroughly enjoyed my experience. Although some staff members we met on our previous visit are no longer there, the current team is well-trained, helpful, kind, and friendly. Their attention to detail is impressive; they anticipate your needs even without being told and take great care of our children. One standout was our Guest Experience Maker, Mr. Noom, who consistently met our needs and planned our daily activities in Samui. He responded promptly to our requests, whether in the early morning or late evening. He is truly the best GEM I have ever encountered, and we greatly appreciate everything he did for us during this trip. One challenge we faced is that the resort is often fully booked, making reservations difficult. This demand reflects the resort's excellence, which they cannot control. We love this place and hope to return soon.

We have always been big fans of the Six Senses concept, which is why this stay at Six Senses Samui was disappointing on some of the core elements the brand is known for. The property itself is undeniably beautiful, and the villas are spacious, well designed, and very comfortable. Where the experience fell short was in service and attention to detail. The staff was polite, but the overall level of care did not feel elevated. We ran into several issues during our stay. At one point, housekeeping insisted on a fixed time slot because the resort was “80% full” and could not manage a dynamic schedule, which felt unflexible for a resort in this price category. More concerning, one day a staff member ignored our do not disturb sign and walked straight into the villa, which was extremely uncomfortable and should never happen at this level. The beach is decent, about a 7 out of 10. It is public and unfortunately has a fair amount of trash. To their credit, the staff does try to clean it regularly, but it still impacts the overall experience. To be clear, this is a good five star hotel. However, based on our experiences at other Six Senses properties, it did not meet the Six Senses standards we expected, especially considering the price point.

I just got back this morning from having spent 10 nights in paradise. I agree with comments about the beds, they are so comfortable. The butler was great. I do not have one bad thing to say about this place, it is 101% perfection!
