Outstanding food and service levels. The villas were beautifully designed, the food was excellent! The staff were warm and friendly ! A treat befitting the true Kerala "God's Own Country" Experience!

We have been to KLR about 8/9 times now and are planning to return again in 2027. It is that good. The location is outstanding. So are the amenities, food and service. We always go on the houseboat, of course. They are probably the best of the lot. In the end, it is the people who make all the difference. We love the staff who go out of their way to be helpful. Nothing is too much. I am disabled and use a mobility scooter and they were very helpful in every way. Of particular mention are Arun, the manager, who adapted our room to suit my disabilities, Johnny, Kavi, the Chef, the Travel Desk, Gibril & Pradeep, and exceptionally Aleena. All deserve our thanks for making our stay very enjoyable.

Our stay at Lake Resort Kumarakom was nothing short of amazing. The serene backwater views, beautifully maintained property, delicious food, and peaceful atmosphere made it a truly memorable experience. The staff was warm, attentive, and always ready to help, making us feel welcomed throughout our stay. A special mention to Kavi, who went above and beyond with his exceptional hospitality. He made sure every detail of our stay was perfect and was always available with a smile. On top of that, he’s an incredibly talented photographer who captured some beautiful moments for us that we’ll cherish forever. Thank you to the entire team at Lake Resort Kumarakom for an unforgettable experience. We can’t wait to return!

I recently stayed at this property and left with mixed feelings. On the positive side, the location and overall experience were excellent — the rooms were comfortable, the staff were attentive, and the atmosphere felt welcoming and well maintained. Those strengths made my stay enjoyable and convenient. However, the property falls short in two important areas. The play area for children is poorly maintained and limited in both size and equipment, which was disappointing for families hoping to keep kids engaged on-site. Additionally, dining options are narrow: the on-site food choices are few, and there are limited healthy or varied menu items available, making meals repetitive if you stay more than a day. In short, this property offers a pleasant core experience and strong service, but it would benefit greatly from investing in better recreational facilities for children and expanding its food offerings. With those improvements, it could become an excellent family-friendly option

It was very pleasant stay, Hospitality was excellent , staff were very courteous. KAVI was excellent with his photography skills , he clicked several memorable pictures of us. Over all experience was very good. Will love to come back.
