Kowloon Shangri-La, Hong Kong

We enjoyed our stay and we are extremely comfortable. The Staff are very attentive to our needs and go above and beyond to ensure our needs are met. Thank you to the team at Horizon Club, special call out to Wing, Kit, Jessica, Tiffany, Hebe and Elisa. Would also like to thank the Chefs at the Horizon club for making delicious breakfast, afternoon tea and evening canapes.

We always enjoy our stays at Shangri-La Hotels and this includes Hong Kong. We stayed here many, many years ago and so it was good to return. The hotel location is excellent and the views are stunning. We always book the Horizon Lounge and although this was exceptionally busy the service was still great. The Team are friendly and efficient and work very hard. In particular, Kit, Jessica and Tony were very friendly and helpful. We would also like to mention May who checked us in at the lobby as the Lounge reception was closed when we arrived.

Staying at the Horizon Club at the Kowloon Shangri-La Hong Kong consistently delivers a calm, elevated experience—great views, seamless service, and a space that just feels right. A special thank you to Tony and Wing, whose warmth and attention to detail make every stay memorable. Their service is thoughtful, genuine, and truly stands out.

We arrived around midnight, and the staff were very helpful, offering to pay our taxi driver, who took Asian credit cards, but not U.S. credit cards, and charge the cost to our room. Check-in went smoothly, and our porter, Omar, was very helpful in pointing out room features and thermostat operation. We stayed on one of the Horizon Club floors, which was quiet and elegant. We tried the main breakfast buffet the first day, which was extensive and quite busy. So, we tried the Horizon Club lounge the 2nd day, and found it much quieter, with a less extensive offering, but one which we found very satisfactory — and we were able to order additional items from a menu at no extra charge. Service at both venues was excellent. The evening between the 2 breakfasts, we were able to avail ourselves of the Evening Cocktails and hors d’oeuvres in the Horizon Club lounge. Elisa and Tony took very good care of us, and we were very impressed by the quality of the stemware, wine, and hors d’oeuvres. Our table had a nice view of the channel below us, between Kowloon and Hong Kong Island. Our room was large, comfortable and well-appointed. The bathroom was also large, with plenty of space for toiletries, and a large shower. The Ocean (Cruise) Terminal is a short (10 min, 70 HKD with 4 bags) taxi ride away. We highly recommend.
