Kowloon Shangri-La, Hong Kong

This is a five star hotel! We were greeted by Amber who registered us in our room saving us tons of time in line at the desk! She was fantastic! Never had such great service❤️

The concierge staff were incredibly friendly and patiently explained how to get to my destination. They also provided me with several different route options, which made me feel truly valued. They were exceptionally kind.

Awesome experience at Shangrila, the service provided by Amber lee was very sweet. She made sure to make my son happy with sweet suprise gifts:)

We planned a magical trip to Hong Kong Disneyland and chose to stay for three days at the famous Kowloon Shangri-La. As soon as we arrived, the grand and luxurious lobby instantly made us feel welcome and pampered. We reached the hotel early, and one of the front desk staff informed us that standard check-in time was 4 PM. We are a family of four, including our 1-year-old baby, and after a long journey, my wife and kids were very tired. I politely asked if an early check-in might be possible, even though I knew it was a busy day with many guests checking out. A huge thank you to Ms. Carissa she kindly arranged our early check-in and even apologized for the short wait. Thank you so much to Simon for carefully handling our luggage and escorting us to our room. A very special thank you to Ms. Jacqueline Tsang (our dear “Auntie Jacqueline”) for her wonderful personal touch she surprised our children with thoughtful gifts and arranged a beautiful room upgrade that made our stay even more special.Because our return flight was at 1 AM, we checked out early. Thank you to Mr. Kobe for professionally managing our luggage once again his warm, heartfelt smile truly brightened our departure. And special thanks to Mr. Christopher Chia for his genuine kindness and care toward our whole family throughout our stay. Shangri-La never disappoints. We absolutely love Kowloon Shangri-La! This was our 2nd stay at the Kowloon Shangri-La, our first was in September 2023. We booked the same room as our first stay, the Horizon Club Deluxe Harbour View Room. Whilst he had very fond memories of this hotel & its team from our 2023 trip, our March 2026 visit exceeded all expectations. The moment we arrived, the team in the horizon club made us feel special (in a part of the hotel where most of the guests appear to think they are special). We were at the hotel for three nights and at every interaction we had with the team they went out of their way to make our stay (particularly our daughters) even more memorable than our first stay. The rooms & view are good and very comfortable, but it’s the team that make it a great hotel. A particular mention to Elisa, Kit & Tony, but this is only because I couldn’t get everyone’s names whilst I was there. We will definitely stay here on our next trip to Hong Kong.
