The stay was very warm as the service staff were excellent ! The rooms were big , spacious and bright ! Location is very decent as it’s next to Victoria Harbour and lotsa restaurant options within walking distance. Very glad to have chosen this place and would recommend for everyone

A birthday surprise we’ll never forget We chose Kowloon Shangri‑La to celebrate our son’s birthday, and we’re so glad we did. A huge thank you to Amber and Molly for going above and beyond. From the moment we arrived, they had everything ready – festive decorations, a personalised banner, a lovely chocolate cake, and a sweet hand‑written card for our boy. But the highlight was the birthday gift, which they secretly found out about and surprised him with. His face lit up like never before. This wasn’t just a hotel stay – it was a memory we’ll treasure forever. We can’t recommend this place enough for families.

Amber and Molly prepared a beautifully decorated room with champagne, chocolates, and a heartfelt handwritten card. They didn’t just remember our anniversary; they took the time to learn our son’s interests and personalised every detail with genuine care. I had a great experience with the Horizon club over a 5 nights stay with KSL. The club staffs Janis and Tony displayed an excellent cordial disposition while serving me and my friends at the lounge everytime we visited the lounge especially during the happy hours session. Staff Hebe also was very attentive to our needs at breakfast time. Kudos to all 3 of them. Good job! 多謝晒！

We stayed at Kowloon Shangri-La for our wedding anniversary, and it began with something small: a line in the reservation notes that read "celebrating wedding anniversary with wife, hoping to have an extra romantic experience." I almost didn't bother writing it, because in my experience these notes go unread. Here it changed everything. If you take one thing from this review, note your occasion in the booking, because this team actually acts on it. From the roundabout onward we were escorted to the top floor for priority Horizon Club check-in. Our room was ready at 2pm even though we'd estimated a 3pm arrival, and Guest Relations had quietly transformed it: anniversary decorations, a bouquet of roses (kept fresh with water at the base, which my wife, a florist's daughter, noticed and loved), chocolates, and champagne. They offered to take photos for us, had them printed, and sent digital copies too. A few things worth knowing if you're considering the Horizon Club Harbour View Room: - The Club access is well worth it: daily breakfast, all-day drinks and snacks, and evening cocktails and canapés in the lounge, all with a Victoria Harbour view. The room includes binoculars, which turned out to be perfect timing. We were there for the Dragon Boat Racing Championships and watched the races from our window. - The lounge staff are cross-trained and consistent. You see the same faces across check-in, service, and butler requests, and they clearly share notes. I asked one staff member for a recommendation, and 30 minutes later a different one greeted me at the entrance to say it was already sorted. The people are the reason this stay stayed with us. Michael set the tone with a warm lobby welcome and useful local tips, including reaching K11 Musea via TST East station to dodge the heat and rain. Kit handled a smooth check-in and a worry-free change to our Shang Palace booking. Molly and Joey presented the anniversary surprise that made us realize our note had really been seen. Janis and Wing moved us to a window table so we wouldn't "waste the view," and photographed us like old friends. Tony's easy conversation and his care at checkout, and Elisa's warmth at breakfast, rounded it out. The wider Horizon Club and Guest Relations teams were consistent and attentive throughout. We paid for the service, of course, and money can buy professionalism. It cannot buy warmth, and warmth is what this team has. Plenty of hotels have the views and the opulence, and Kowloon Shangri-La has those too, but it's the staff who make it whole. This was our first splurge on a stay like this, and honestly it felt like a first love. We will be chasing this high for a long time!
