Kowloon Shangri-La, Hong Kong

Shangri La Kowloon is a special place. From the moment the driver greets you at the airport and takes your luggage to the waiting limousine you know you are in for a treat. You arrive at the hotel and the Guest Relationship Manger is waiting for the car to arrive and greets you by name, escorting you past the front desk and to your room bypassing the queues at reception. The fragrance in the lobby tells you that you have arrived at the Shangri La. The hotel is beautifully appointed, and the staff well trained in customer service. We booked a fantastic Harbour view suite with an amazing view both day and night. There are great dining options in the hotel and close by if you want to eat out. We had a fantastic time and look forward to visiting again soon.

The Shangri- La is a large hotel, but the service is very personal. The staff were helpful and courteous. The rooms are very comfortable, and kept immaculate. I had a wonderful view across the water to Hong Kong. Any request was taken care of immediately. Breakfast was truly international, anything you might want from waffles to wonton was available - great coffee and pastries. I also had two excellent meals in their Michelin star restaurant.

Kowloon Shangri-La is my go-to choice for celebrating special occasions. Whether it's a birthday celebration or a wedding anniversary, I always choose Kowloon Shangri-La. Amber is truly outstanding—she handled everything with care, which put me completely at ease. My colleagues also want to thank Kammy for her great coordination.

The stay at the hotel was of the highest standard in terms of the level of service and the service approach of everyone involved. Starting from check-in, through preparing the room and responding to requests, through the approach of the staff in the hospitality lounge on the 20th floor and finally check-out. My only constructive comment is regarding the air conditioning in the room, which on the one hand, if you turn it on even at the "low" level, is still too noisy and also smells of dust at a low level, and on the other hand, without the air conditioner it is very hot. We preferred not to turn on the air conditioner at all and suffered a bit.

We had a wonderful short stay at Shangri-la. We had a great view from the room, it is a water view where you can see the sunset and the boats passing by. This hotel has a walking distance mall called K11, I think it was one of the best and nicest malls in Hong Kong. Overall, we had a great time.
