Kowloon Shangri-La, Hong Kong

Excellent hotel in a great location. The subway station was not even a minute walk. The room was so much bigger than what we were expecting. More importantly, the service was top notch. All the employees were professional and friendly. I would like to give special mention to Bellman Mike who was extremely friendly. He made my wife and I feel welcome every time. He would always greet us everyday with a big smile. He even gave an excellent recommendation on where to get the classic HK French toast. Overall a great stay!

The sea - view room we stayed in this time is absolutely stunning. The vast sea view is fully in sight and is so beautiful that it intoxicates us, adding a lot of beauty to our journey. To the Horizon Club team at Kowloon Shangri-La, Hong Kong—thank you very much for a wonderful stay. Your service stood out not for clearing tables quickly or simply offering refills, but for arriving at just the right moment—attentive without being intrusive. In particular, Mr Tony engaged us in warm conversation and consistently created an easy, welcoming atmosphere. We also noticed how courteously Mr Tony treated every guest, which made our time in the lounge truly special. We enjoyed the breakfast selection, including local dishes. If anything, the cocktail hours felt a little short; having a bit more time to relax and enjoy would be even better. Our sincere thanks to the entire Horizon Club team. We look forward to returning, and we would be happy to choose Shangri-La hotels in other countries as well. Thank you again.

We were travelling as a family of four and we were very fortunate to be staying in two interconnected Horizon Club full harbour view rooms. Each room is spacious with a generously sized bathroom with separate bath and shower. Our room did indeed have amazing views over Victoria Harbour and the skyline of Hong Kong island, though the nearby Rosewood Hotel does block some of this classic skyline. Unfortunately our room was close to the service elevators and there was some noise from the motors running the lifts. That said, this was only really noticeable when awake from jetlag. Our Horizon Club room was on the 20th floor (out of 21) which afforded us things like in-room checkin, dedicated concierge desks and access to the club lounge. We very much appreciated having a peaceful space for breakfast, afternoon tea, evening nibbles or simply to relax after a long and hot day exploring Hong Kong. I would like to extend my heartfelt gratitude to Janis, Tony, Elisa, Buddy and the rest of the Club team for making us feel very welcome and for making our stay feel effortless and extra special. It's very clear that the club team work very hard together to create an excellent guest experience. Thank you. The hotel is very conveniently placed on the waterfront and only a few minutes away from the nearest MTR station. There is a taxi rank just outside and the team are only too happy to flag one down for you.

Shangri La Kowloon is a special place. From the moment the driver greets you at the airport and takes your luggage to the waiting limousine you know you are in for a treat. You arrive at the hotel and the Guest Relationship Manger is waiting for the car to arrive and greets you by name, escorting you past the front desk and to your room bypassing the queues at reception. The fragrance in the lobby tells you that you have arrived at the Shangri La. The hotel is beautifully appointed, and the staff well trained in customer service. We booked a fantastic Harbour view suite with an amazing view both day and night. There are great dining options in the hotel and close by if you want to eat out. We had a fantastic time and look forward to visiting again soon.
