Rayavadee is situated in the heart of Krabi's beautiful Phranang Peninsula on the border of Krabi Marine National Park, an area renowned for its natural beauty and rich flora, fauna and marine life. When the resort was built more than two decades ago, it was with the idea of living in balance within this unique environment. The accommodation was constructed to nestle in between the property's many trees, none of which were cut during the process, in order to blend seamlessly with the natural surroundings. With the resort's low-key approach to building, the habitat of the area's many varieties of birds and animals was not disturbed. In addition, we employ a number of practices to reduce the negative impact on our surroundings with a focus on sustainable water and waste management as well as energy efficiency.

We absolutely loved our time at Rayavadee. The setting alone makes it one of the most unique places we’ve stayed in Thailand, it’s hard to imagine a better location anywhere in the country. Being surrounded by dramatic limestone cliffs and that incredible beach view feels really special and unlike anywhere else. One of the things we appreciated most was that, despite feeling so tucked away and exclusive, you’re not completely isolated. There’s a bit going on nearby, with a few bars and restaurants within easy reach, which gives it a really nice balance of atmosphere and tranquility. A special shoutout to Cindy, who took such great care of us during our stay. She really made a difference and added a personal touch to the experience. We also had an excellent meal at the hotel’s Thai restaurant, Raya Dining. The food and setting were both fantastic and definitely worth booking at least once during your stay. All in all, Rayavadee offers something you simply don’t get elsewhere in Thailand. The location and views alone make it unforgettable, and we’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for somewhere truly special.

We had our wedding at Rayavadee, and it was truly a dream come true. This was already our fourth stay at Rayavadee, and it has always been a very special place for us. But celebrating our wedding here made it even more unforgettable. The location is simply breathtaking. Surrounded by limestone cliffs, lush nature and the ocean, it feels completely unique and unlike anywhere else we have ever been. What makes Rayavadee truly exceptional is the service and the people. Every member of the staff is incredibly friendly, attentive and genuinely caring. You feel welcomed from the very first moment and completely taken care of throughout your entire stay. A very special thank you goes to Khun Pin, who supported us during the entire wedding planning process. Her professionalism, calmness, attention to detail and dedication were outstanding. She made everything feel easy and perfectly organized. Our wedding day itself was absolutely flawless. Every detail was exactly as we had imagined – elegant, emotional and beautifully coordinated. We were able to fully relax and enjoy every moment. We have stayed in many luxury hotels around the world, but nothing compares to Rayavadee. It is truly one of a kind. We will definitely come back again – whether for our anniversary or simply to relax and enjoy this incredible place once more. Thank you for everything. Chris & Bummi

Ever had a hotel experience so amazing that you couldn't wait to write a review? Rayavadee was everything and more. My partner and I traveled to Krabi via Bangkok and arrived to a seamless transport from the airport to Rayavadee. Pro tip: book the arrival and departure transportation directly through the hotel. It was so easy. Upon arriving to the beach on the speedboat, the welcome from the staff felt very "White Lotus" in the best way. We never had to touch our bags once - the staff literally handled everything. The check in process with the cold towel, welcome drink, explanation of the property, was just seamless. Now the room - incredible. Beautiful setting in the jungle - plenty of room, loved the foot rinse station outside the front door. The AC worked perfectly, the bathrooms were gorgeous, comfortable bed, and plenty of amenities that would make even the pickiest person happy. (It's me - I'm picky). The pool was easily one of the most gorgeous pools I've ever seen - and I mean it when I say that there was never more than 4 other people in there with me during peak time in March. This meant plenty of available chairs, space, and easy access to the poolside restaurant. It was really lovely to be able to watch the chaos of Railay Beach from the privacy and serenity of the Rayavadee pool. The food was honestly unbelievable. We dined at the poolside restaurant, the breakfast area, and the Grotto. Pro tip: make a reservation for the Grotto long before your trip - you won't want to miss out. Still dreaming of the wagyu meat and shrimp we had. The breakfast selection had something for everyone and the lattes were delicious. Pro tip: don't miss the chilled bottles of champagne + fresh pineapple juice to start the day. Also - this place is SECURE. There are security guards everywhere. No one is allowed on the property at all unless they are a guest. So this means no one other than hotel guests will be in the restaurants or around the pool. It made for a lovely and relaxing environment. Railay Beach can get pretty busy so it's nice to know that they do such a good job of keeping the property secure. The location: jungle vibes, sandwiched between 3 different beach areas. It's freaking gorgeous. You could spend a whole day just exploring the grounds and the different trails (we did - and the maps around the property are a huge help). The staff was 5 stars. Our sunset sangria boat tour was so romantic and memorable and the crew went above and beyond to make sure we had fun. The staff was friendly, helpful, and made sure that every guest felt completely taken care of. We love a 5 star hotel and this hotel clearly hires 5 star employees. Also, very LGBTQ friendly! We are usually ready to leave a hotel to move onto the next location but in this case, we were not ready to leave Rayavadee. We will absolutely be back.

This was our second time at the Rayavadee (previous visit March 2023) and it did not disappoint. We had a lovely private pool villa which was close to the main reception area. We were greeted by Ray, Roman and Non on arrival and it was recognised that we were returning customers. We spent most of our days by the big pool being looked after by Att and his team and for lunch we spent our time at Rai Talay Terrace a fusion of Thai, Vietnamese and Indian cuisine but also had some poolside greats! In fact we liked it here so much we would return for supper! Best burger ever and the fish & chips amazing - lunch sorted. Supper the lamb vindaloo and chicken tikka masala which we requested to have both extra hot! The team here made us feel like old friends and really looked after us. Thank you, Noon, Ake, Fa, Green, Sana, Lalip, Plak (great cocktails), Ae, Tum, Lok (chef) and Sapranee. We cannot forget of course Lily the security guard! Great chats. Finally special thanks to Chai, Tony and Ray (again) who looked after us for the additional three days as we were unable to get home. You looked after us with care and thought to our situation, Thank you.
