From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome. The bellman was particularly attentive and service-oriented (can’t remember his name). Our room overlooked the river and we had a partial view of the castle - quite roomy. The bed was comfortable and all linens were of good quality. Shower only in the bathroom. As Elite members, we had access to the 1st floor Club Lounge for evening supper and drinks, with a host available to answer questions. Try the house-made Belgian chocolates! Breakfast for members was in the ground floor Anima Restaurant, and was really good - the full European spread with made-to-order omelettes from the kitchen and lots of fresh fruit, breads, meats, and hot foods. Lovely setting in the garden-like atrium. Definitely worth it instead of taking the points option. We used the small (2 station) business center for printing documents from both websites and our email accounts, and had no problem. And the Wi-Fi all around the hotel was incredibly fast for checking email and uploading photos to a Shutterfly account. Walking to the Wawel Castle and Old Town was a snap - pretty much flat and easy to navigate. Many stores don't open until 11 am, but the main square and other locations are open at 10. Don't miss the hourly trumpet call at the bell tower in the Main Square if you are heading that way. Shopping and dining tips: For authentic pierogies, try Morskie Oko (make a reservation). For unique Polish women's clothing with an African-inspired feel, visit KOKO World. Handmade jewelry and ceramics can be found at Aga Gaj. All are in the Old Town. In all, this would be our first choice to stay again. Truly a gem!

What a lovely stay! The ground floor is impressive: a massive open area with the ceiling wayyyy up at the level of the highest floors. Fantastic light and very communal. Incredible breakfast buffet with Sebastian making omelettes to order and Emilia fixing the perfect smoothies to start the day! She and her colleagues at the smoothie/espresso bar brought such positive energy, as did their colleagues at the front desk helping with directions, reservations, and ATM needs. Terrific location, great showers and views from the rooms, and a reasonable price. I HIGHLY recommend the Krakow Sheraton Grand and will definitely stay there again!

Best hotel in Krakow - be sure to hang out in the lounge and order a drink from Szymon - the best bartender in Krakow!

Nice rooms, nice breakfast, left item in wardrobe at checkout that can’t be found according to guest services has dampened my experience
