Sheraton Grand Krakow

My wife and I stayed at the Sheraton Grand Krakow recently for holiday. We tend to stay at Hilton or Marriott properties when we travel. The location is great, close to Wawel Castle and main Market Square. The hotel reminded us of an Embassy Suites in the way it is very open. The room was not large for a suite. One big room not defined living and bedroom. The bathroom was also quite small - not separate bath and shower and only one sink. The cost was little more than I was expecting due to what I read about pricing in Poland. The lounge was nice, good food on couple nights and friendly service. The concierge was very helpful in getting restaurant bookings made. Pros are location and friendly staff and cons are small room and bathroom for what you pay.

We had a beautiful stay at this hotel, located on the banks of the Vistula River and a few minutes from the Old Town. A perfect  location for exploring Krakow on foot. Congrats to the entire team for the excellent service : professional, attentive, and always available, with a warm welcome worthy of a hotel of this standard. A special mention goes to the excellent breakfast, with a very nice selection and outstanding quality.

Only giving a 1 star review because of the exceptionally rude attitude of a staff at the lobby bar. Ordered a glass of wine before I realised it was exceptionally overpriced at 99 zloty, When I wanted to change the order, she complained that I changed my mind. Sheraton you need to do a lot better than this for an otherwise great city. Hope you will improve your service standards - unbecoming for a 5 star hotel.

We had an amazing experience at the Sheraton Grand Krakow. We stayed 4 nights and received a complimentary upgrade to a river/castle view room. They also added a complimentary rollaway bed for our daughter. It included the Club Lounge and buffet breakfast for the 3 of us. One of the best CLs in the world. The most friendly service by all employees all around. We also want to give a warm recognition to Robert at the CL in Krakow, he was just superb in every way possible. Also, the best employee award to Tukasz who not only was the best Bellman but he was consistently working doing anything needed to make the guests feel welcome. The location of the hotel was also great with an incredible rooftop bar/restaurant.

This hotel is in a great location for exploring Krakow. Thoroughly enjoyed the rooms and dining but the best experience was at the bar. Szymon was a creative bartender and a charismatic person. He provided excellent cocktails and friendly conversation plus excellent recommendations. He took this stay from good to outstanding.
