Perched atop Merdeka 118, the hotel offers panoramic views of KL. Rooms are in a typical understated luxury synonymous with the Park Hyatt branding. Hotel is still in the launch teething phase, so there are of course unsure staff still undergoing training. That said, this should iron itself out in the next few months.

The hotel’s atmosphere, room quality, and service standards were truly impressive, and I genuinely enjoyed the experience. Thank you to the team for providing such a high-quality hospitality experience.

Excellent place to stay in KL: great view, superb amenities, central location, etc. We stayed at floor 109 and had excellent view of the city from the bedroom and bathroom. Got upgraded to corner king room which was very very spacious, with separate foyer, bathroom area, storage area had ironing board, safety box, dyson hair dryer. Enough space on the living room to do work from the desk, and do yoga while facing the sky high view of the city. Felt unreal when you first stepped into the room. Bathroom has super gorgeous and spacious bath tub with modern blind, lamp, water fountain etc, all facing the gigantic window. Park lounge has excellent breakfast. Service was great. Definitely a recommend, especially after the mall and MRT will be open next year

Message Body I stayed at the Park Hyatt Kuala Lumpur on November 23, 2025, and the experience was exceptional from start to finish. The hotel occupies the 75th to 114th floors of Merdeka 118 Tower, making it one of the highest hotels in the world — and that alone made me excited to try it. The property is brand new, having opened in August 2025. Upon arrival, I was greeted in the ground-level lobby by Zaid from Concierge, who warmly welcomed me and escorted me to the elevator leading up to the main lobby on the 75th floor. A greeter guided me to the front desk where Faiqassisted me. He immediately recognized my status, thanked me for being a loyal member, and offered me the option to wait for a room with a much better view. I took his advice, and it was absolutely worth it — my room came with a spectacular view of KL Tower, the Petronas Twin Towers, and TRX. While waiting, an intern offered the hotel’s signature Park Hyatt tea, slightly tangy and refreshing. When my room was ready, Faiq personally escorted me upstairs — a thoughtful gesture he didn’t have to do. The room was spacious, luxurious, and beautifully designed, and the view alone made it unforgettable. However, one minor flaw stood out: the long metal cover for a cavity next to the floor-to-ceiling windows wasn’t properly aligned. It’s not noticeable at first glance, but up close it was clearly not placed correctly, which took away a bit from the otherwise polished look of the room. Later that evening, Yazmanh from in-room dining delivered a fruit bowl along with a traditional Malaysian Tingkatfilled with cookies and chocolates from different regions. He explained everything with pride and warmth, which I appreciated. I also visited the spa on the 99th floor, where Rita introduced the facilities and guided me to the pool and men’s locker room. Inside, So showed me the sauna, steam bath, the multi-feature shower with ambient lights, and the hot tub. The amenities themselves were standard, but the views from that height were extraordinary. Breakfast the next morning was another highlight. Sonia assisted me and recommended several dishes. I enjoyed the Egg Royale, the variety of dim sum, and the kaya toast. The breakfast area can get busy, but it was manageable — and dining with a panoramic view made it memorable. And in a unique twist, when I woke up in the morning, the clouds had wrapped around the tower so completely that I had no view at all — it truly felt like I had slept in the clouds, an experience very few hotels can offer. Overall, Park Hyatt Kuala Lumpur delivered a luxurious, memorable, and elevated stay — with exceptional service and breathtaking views. Aside from a small room finishing detail that needs attention, everything else was outstanding.

One of the best if not the best new additions to the Hyatt properties in Asia and globally. A great experience and we will definitely go back.
