The Ritz-Carlton, Kuala Lumpur

I’ve been here a few times and always enjoyed it, I I was in a club room so I can enjoy the club lounge and all its great benefits. The room is very good but they are winding down on the branding now, nothing on the slippers etc, it is losing its brand. The room is very nice, incredibly comfy, inviting and welcoming with one of the best beds in the business, the bathroom and shower are great. The club lounge food has gone downhill with far too many staff, they used to have a bout 3 now I think there are about 7 . The guests when I was there was very loud and boisterous they just wanted to get drunk I think. The food in the lounge has gone downhill and can tell the cost cutting with many dishes repeated nearly on a daily basis, they had duck one night but they didn’t just give meat, the chef gave meat with a lot of bones in and it was very chewy so I gave up on it. They don’t allow anyone to take glasses to the room so you’re stuck with the small glasses in your room if you want to make your own drinks, so you’ll have to sneak it out of the club lounge. It was nice to go back but I wouldn’t return again. With so many choices in KL you would think hotels would be competing more with each others and give better benefits. I had breakfast once and that was in the club lounge, although I could have had it in the main restaurant I don’t really east breakfast. Have fun.

We just attended the Sunday champagne brunch today. Was blown away by Arjun service. Arjun is amazing. Will be back again

Offering the best location in the city, the team at The Ritz-Carlton has always been friendly and professional. From the team at the door, to Front Desk, Housekeeping and Cobalt Room, there is never once you see them without a smile. My family and I were very well taken care of during our recent stay which we will definitely want to return for our future visits. Hopefully the hotel can go into a refurbishment soon to keep up with the high level of hospitality the team is working hard towards achieving. To the ladies and gentlemen, you are First Class!

A slightly older hotel but the family suites were amazing two bedroom suite had 2.5 bathrooms huge dining area and a huge as well as kitchen facilities, et cetera. Location is good stuck onto more which complement the hotel is already excellent dining options. would recommend it for anyone staying in KL who needs a larger footprint room.

Their warm hospitality made our stay truly unforgettable. Mr. Masum took great care of us throughout our visit.He was incredibly kind and friendly, and quickly bonded with our son. Thank you for making our first stay in Kuala Lumpur such a wonderful and memorable experience.
