The vibe and the scent that Shangri-la KL has, do not have many five star hotels worldwide. It feels as comeing home, it is an oasis full of the worm and rich colours, beautiful flowers all over it. The suit is impeccable, spacious, with big bed and spotless bed sheets, confy pillows. We loved our staying in Shangri-la that we decided to prolong our stay for another week (all together 18 days). The main value are people who are working there. From the bus driver, cleaners, hosts, concierges, spa and gym personel, waitresses and waiters in Horizon to the chefs to the manager, it all fits and runs smoothly. They are open to hear, see and learn and have capacity to adapt and respond to the guest needs. This is not just a hospitality, it is a respect. We visited Shangrula 6 years ago on several occasions and back then it was a bit oldish, not so well kept, a bit sad hotel. Today it is a hotel that offers great cuisines, perfect location, great restaurants, kitchen welcomes, healty and gluten and dairy free options, all with young atmosphere. We had our oustanding stay in Shangri-la with the Rizman's boutique just next to it's entrance (one may run into celebrities).

I had an excellent deep tissue massage at the spa at the Shangri-La Hotel in Kuala Lumpur. The customer service was exceptional, and both Sarimah and Esther made the experience stand out. Sarimah at reception was incredibly welcoming and attentive, making me feel comfortable from the moment I arrived. Esther, my massage therapist, was equally welcoming and attentive throughout the treatment and provided a fantastic deep tissue massage. A heartfelt thank you to Sarimah and Esther for their wonderful service and genuine care. They made my visit a memorable one, and I would highly recommend the spa!
