Great, old school, luxury property
An old school luxury property that, whilst old, is immaculately kept. The club lounge team have looked after us very well. For club room and suite guests, the daily afternoon tea (3pm to 5pm) and cocktail hour (5pm to 7pm) have nice food and drinks, all served quickly and with a smile. You can have breakfast in the lounge (part buffet and part a la carte) but we choose to eat in the main hotel breakfast buffet. We were welcomed and looked after everyday by the wonderfully friendly Yusma and Norita and we enjoyed all of the fruit and Chinese, Malay, Indian, Western and small Japanese sections. We have been staying in Kuala Lumpur for many, many years and have tried and enjoyed various 5 star properties, the best point we can make is we will return to the Shangri La at their current price point.
