Shangri-La Hotel, Kuala Lumpur

I had lunch at Shang Palace, the food was amazing, and the staff Fennie and Jun Yong provided excellent service. I’d definitely come back again!

Once again staying at our favourite hotel chain and first time visitors to Shangri-La KL. Amazing welcome, lovely reception, the smells the flowers and attentive staff. Taken up to the executive club lounge for check-in, seemed to take a good while but we were offered drinks, but we were tired after a long flight from London. Room was a standard horizon club deluxe, nicely appointed, although tv was not internet enabled, decor was updated. Bathroom small for 2. Horizon club was large, but functional, no views, food was pretty standard and drinks were ok. Sister hotel in Bangkok is far better. Spa was ok, lovely staff but lacked the ambience of a luxury spa experience. Food quality in the Lemon Garden was adequate, lobby service was slow. Pool area has potential, but is dated and in need of refurbishment.

​The Lemon Garden on LL Level has the most wonderful buffet, with all kinds of food, Western, Malay, Chinese, Indian, plus nice desserts and drinks. Everything tasted fresh and good. 😋 ​The staff are truly wonderful. They were all so friendly and helpful, making my solo meal easy and nice. A big thank you to Katheeravan, Lynn, Aslina, Haz, Rino, Rehan, Nithiya and all your team! You guys are awesome! ✨ ​The whole team works hard. This place is definitely five stars for food and people! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Janna is absolutely amazing! From the moment I walked in, she made me feel completely comfortable and relaxed. Her technique is both soothing and deeply effective—she knows exactly how to find and release every area of tension. I left feeling restored, balanced, and refreshed.
