Shangri-La Hotel, Kuala Lumpur

Shangri-La Kuala Lumpur continues to be my go-to hotel whenever I'm in KL, and it never disappoints. The rooms are immaculate, the service is polished from check-in to check-out, and the overall experience is consistently top-notch — everything you'd expect from a true five-star property. A special shoutout to the wonderful team at the Horizon Lounge — Ina, Feez, Noryati, Sharizal, and Nizam. Their warmth, attentiveness, and genuine hospitality make every visit feel like coming home. They always go above and beyond, remembering little preferences and making sure every stay is comfortable and stress-free. Thank you for consistently taking such great care of me! Highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Kuala Lumpur, especially for the exceptional Horizon Lounge experience.

Our stay at the Shangri-La Kuala Lumpur was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment you arrive, you’re welcomed into a stunning property that instantly makes you feel relaxed, comfortable, and completely removed from the hustle and bustle of the city, despite being right in the heart of Kuala Lumpur. The hotel itself is absolutely breathtaking. The grand lobby creates an incredible first impression, and every member of the team, from the concierge through to the Horizon Club staff, made us feel genuinely valued throughout our stay. We were fortunate enough to be upgraded to a beautiful corner suite, and what an unforgettable surprise that was! The room was spacious, luxurious, and offered spectacular views. It made our stay even more special. The dining was outstanding. The Japanese restaurant was fantastic so were the staff who made it special, the main lady at check on especially. They served incredible food and impeccable service. Breakfast each morning was one of the highlights of our stay. The buffet offered an enormous selection of delicious dishes, with plenty of wonderful options for children too. And the chocolate fountains and ice cream station? Absolutely brilliant! Finally, a hotel that truly understands how to make breakfast exciting for families. We also loved spending time by the peaceful pond and thoroughly enjoyed the Horizon Club Lounge. The afternoon tea selection was excellent, and the evening canapés and drinks were beautifully presented with plenty of variety. We had full belly’s and very satisfied. Travelling with children can sometimes make departure day stressful, so we were incredibly grateful to be offered a late check-out. It made such a difference to our family and was another example of the hotel’s outstanding hospitality. A special thank you to Hona, Rey, Mondy, Thela, Feez, and Kelly. Your warmth, kindness, and genuine care made our stay truly memorable. You are wonderful ambassadors for Shangri-La especially Hona. We also loved the complimentary Shangri-La shuttle bus to the nearby shopping mall. It was convenient, reliable, and a fantastic added service. Thank you to the entire team for creating such a memorable experience. We left feeling refreshed, spoiled, and already looking forward to our next visit. We can’t wait to return!

Had a wonderful experience at the Lobby Lounge, Shangri-La Kuala Lumpur with my family. The ambience was elegant, relaxing, and perfect for spending quality time together. The staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive, making us feel warmly welcomed throughout our visit. The food and beverages were excellent, especially the afternoon tea selection, which was beautifully presented and delicious. The comfortable setting and serene atmosphere made our family gathering even more special. Thank you to the team at Shangri-La Kuala Lumpur for the outstanding hospitality, esp staff named Eija.
