Shangri-La Hotel, Kuala Lumpur

We had an absolutely wonderful experience at the Horizon Club at Shangri-La Kuala Lumpur, and the biggest reason was the incredible team. A special thank you to Norkyati, Ina, Feez, Mohd Syah, Baktiar, Chef Kan Kar Foo. Every one of you made us feel so welcome and genuinely looked after. The service was warm, friendly, professional and incredibly attentive. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and the staff always greeted us with a smile. They remembered our preferences, checked that everything was okay and made us feel like valued guests rather than simply hotel customers. The kindness and personal attention we received throughout our stay really stood out. Chef Kanu also deserves a special mention for the wonderful food and care put into the dining experience. It is people like this team who make a hotel stay truly memorable. They are a real credit to Shangri-La Kuala Lumpur and deserve recognition for the excellent hospitality they provide. Ina knewvmy taste straight away and arranged for special breakfast for me. For that I can not thank her enough. Thank you, Norkyati, Ina, Fegz, Mohd Syah, Baktiar, Chef Kanu and Kar Foo, for making our stay so special. We will remember your kindness and for this reason we shall return again soon. ❤️

I stayed in a room with Club Lounge access for a total of four nights, with a few days in between my stays. What impressed me most during my stay was the warm and thoughtful hospitality of the Club Lounge team. During my first stay, I happened to see some mangosteens and asked if I could have some. Although they were not part of the regular Club Lounge menu, the staff kindly went out of their way to bring some for me. What surprised and delighted me even more was that when I returned to the hotel a few days later, they still remembered my preferences and previous requests. On another occasion, when I asked if I could have kaya toast, which was also not on the Club Lounge menu, they kindly arranged to have it brought up from the restaurant downstairs. Of course, I truly appreciated that they went out of their way to prepare these special items for me, but what touched me even more was that they remembered my preferences from my previous stay. Their attention to detail made the service feel genuinely personal and heartfelt. Everyone on the Club Lounge team was incredibly kind and made me feel warmly welcomed throughout my stays. I would especially like to thank Ina and Mandy, who were exceptionally kind and attentive. They always welcomed me with a smile and took such thoughtful care of me. I truly appreciate everything they did to make my stay special. Thank you so much. Thanks to the wonderful Club Lounge team, my stay was incredibly comfortable and memorable. I would definitely love to use the Club Lounge again the next time I stay at the hotel.
