We recently visited Kyoto and chose the Hyatt Regency, and it proved to be an exceptional decision. Beyond its convenient, central location, what truly sets this hotel apart is the extraordinary level of personal care and service. ​A special note of gratitude goes to Ms. Thiri Naing, whose warmth and expertise made our stay unforgettable. She initially managed to secure an upgrade for four days of our stay, which originally required a room move for the final two nights. However, through her proactive efforts, she was able to keep us in the same upgraded room for our entire stay without the hassle of moving. Her 5-year dedication to the Hyatt brand shines through in every interaction, and team members like her are precisely why we continue returning to Hyatt. ​The concierge team also went above and beyond when my wife developed a sudden cold and sinus issue. They promptly arranged an appointment at a local Japanese clinic, making the entire medical process smooth and quick. Impressively, the clinic even followed up with us over the next week to ensure her recovery was on track. ​If you are looking for genuine care, high-level attentiveness, and exceptional service in Kyoto, we recommend the Hyatt Regency Kyoto with complete confidence

Amazing hotel in a unique modern Japanese influenced style. Will absolutely return to this hotel on our next visit. Breakfast was excellent. Staff was super receptive and helpful. Spa was nice. Workout facility (was a little far away) but very nice.

Great location, rooms nice and staff was amazing. Restaurant on side had nice selection and high quality. Breakfast is not to be missed it exceeded our expectations.

The hotel is located right next to the museum. It has a warm and premium vibe with wood-carving-like decorations. The concierge service was especially convenient if you would like to book a local restaurant but they only take phone reservations and you don’t speak Japanese. Just tell the concierge the place and time range and they will do the rest.
