We had a wonderful stay at Nayara. The property is absolutely beautiful, lush, peaceful, and thoughtfully designed, and it really feels immersed in nature. The service was excellent throughout our stay; everyone was warm, attentive, and genuinely helpful. We also really enjoyed the food and the overall amenities. Everything felt high quality without being overly formal, which made it easy to relax and enjoy the resort. It was one of the highlights of our Costa Rica trip, and we would happily return.

We visited Nayara Gardens with our family during a trip to Costa Rica and it exceeded every expectation. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel completely taken care of. Every single person we interacted with, from the front desk to housekeeping to the restaurant team, was warm, attentive, and genuinely happy to help. The service was unbelievable. Little details were handled without us even having to ask, and the staff went out of their way to make sure our stay was smooth for our whole family. The property itself is beautiful, tucked into the rainforest with incredible views of Arenal Volcano, and it has such a peaceful, relaxing feel while still being close to everything La Fortuna has to offer.

Beautiful up-scale resort, worth the stay! it actually rained quite a bit during the stay, so we spent much of the time in the room, but we had an amazing time because we had rooms with private pools. the thermal-water comfortable pools surrounded by lush gardens made the stay worth it. The food options and the included breakfast were top-notch when it came to options and flavor. The room itself was a treat, too. It was basically a small casita and included fresh fruit and snacks. I would definitely recommend this resort.

Nayara Gardens gave us a GREAT vacation. Thanks to the founder (Leo Ghitis) for creating the great Nayara resort settings, as seen on Eugene Levy's The Reluctant Traveler series. The staff, food, facilities, natural setting and adventure guides were all marvelous ! We loved our newly renovated Villas with splash pools and outdoor showers ! When we arrived in San Jose, we were greeted by Alonso. My wife calls him our "Nayara Guardian Angel". After a pleasant and scenic ride from the airport to the Gardens we were welcomed warmly by the front desk staff, including Luis Alonso Cordoncillo. Mariela Varela Zuniga and Harzal were such great expert naturalists who taught us a great deal about Costa Rica and the rain forest. Jefferson, Jasmine and Kevin were fantastic guides and we loved the exciting journeys and tours the Nayara had arranged. On site at the resort the restaurants exceeded our expectations - great food and great staff and great variety at the many different places. We had the pleasure of meeting Head chef Gianluca Re Fraschini and complemented him on the wonderful food and themes he created. The wait staff in all the restaurants were just great and so friendly and helpful. The musical entertainment was delightful. One night at dinner in the Tented Camp at Ayla, we were entertained by Mario on the clarinet. He was marvelous. We also met Luis Solano Herrera, Resident Manager, and he educated us on many aspects of Nayara. Our breakfasts at La Fortuna were so relaxing and fun. We remember fondly our lovely server Sharon and Alexander behind the grill made it very enjoyable. Also, Rene, Raquel, and Arnaldo were helpful and welcoming. Best of all, Jean Carlos always was ready with the unsurpassed, fresh Costa Rica coffee to start each day. Jean Carlos went above and beyond and arranged for a fun tortilla making lesson and helped with advice on activities. He had many great stories and knowledge of Costa Rica.
