Nayara Gardens

We had a fantastic stay at Nayara Gardens. Our room was excellent, all of the services exceptional and the whole experience very memorable. We enjoyed the guided nature walks, the hot springs and the very good food. The staff were extremely helpful - even after our stay they helped reunite us with an item we had left behind. Could not have been more impressed. Thank you!!

We had such a wonderful stay at Nayara Gardens during our family vacation! The hotel and grounds are absolutely beautiful, but what really made the experience special was being surrounded by nature at every turn. We loved walking around the property and seeing so much wildlife right on the grounds—it felt like a little adventure every time we stepped outside. Most of all, the staff were incredible. Everyone was so warm, welcoming, and attentive, and they truly made us feel like family throughout our stay. Traveling with our young son, we especially appreciated how genuinely kind and accommodating everyone was. Nayara Gardens is a beautiful place, but it’s the combination of the incredible setting, wildlife, and genuinely caring staff that made our stay so memorable. We would absolutely love to return!

This is one of the most breath taking places we have stayed. The foliage is simply stunning and impeccably maintained. The rooms are romantic and stunning, the service is top notch and the people are kind. From the massage, to the hot springs, to the perfect steak, our entire time was magical.

What a truly amazing experience and now my favorite resort!!!! Each and every staff member was beyond incredible and helpful. I've traveled to many countries and have to say that Costa Rica has some of the nicest people in the world! Pura Vida for sure! Positioned in the rainforest with breathtaking views of the near by volcano, the atmosphere was even better than I had imagined! My villa was exactly as it looked online, which is a big plus! The entire resort was so clean and maintained daily. Thermal pools were delightful! And the wildlife on the property and surrounding areas were amazing! I thoroughly enjoyed the sounds of the rainforest. I was able to ease into sleep and slept like a baby! Definitely worth the cost!!!!

We first stayed at this hotel 15 years ago, and it has grown considerably since then. Despite all the changes and expansion, we have always had the same pleasure coming back. Once again, we stayed in a Rainforest Villa with a private pool, which was absolutely beautiful. Nestled in the heart of the rainforest, it offered an incredible sense of privacy and immersion in nature. The villa normally has a view of Arenal Volcano, but unfortunately, the weather was not on our side during our three days there. Given the size of the resort, getting around is mostly done by buggy, although some areas are also easily accessible on foot. The restaurants were excellent, especially the Mediterranean restaurant located in the tented camp, which also has a beautiful bar. The Italian restaurant was also wonderful, and the breakfast buffet was of exceptional quality, with an impressive variety of options. The lushness of the rainforest also means that wildlife is everywhere. We were lucky enough to see many animals within the resort itself, including sloths, which was such a special experience! The hot springs were fantastic, as were the various pools throughout the resort. The staff were consistently friendly, welcoming and professional. We absolutely loved our stay and can only highly recommend this wonderful hotel!
