Our 35 villas are 1,500 square feet of pure luxury, romance, and privacy. These villas offer the ultimate experience with a private plunge pool fed by water directly from the volcano which is some of the purest in the world. The room includes complimentary breakfast, minibar, laundry, daily yoga classes, and your very own personal host! Nayara Springs is an adult-only luxurious property with many unique and exclusive features. The hotel has two savory restaurants; Amor Loco and Mis Amores. In Amor Loco guests can enjoy gourmet cuisine while sitting by the pool or dining inside with live music seven nights a week. Mis Amores is our casual Italian fare restaurant with a beautiful direct view of the Volcano which is also connected to our new swim-up pool bar Cielito Lindo. Nayara Springs also has its own coffee bar; the coffee is a Nayara Signature that can only be found on the property. Guests can also enjoy our open-air yoga pavilion or work on their fitness at our new state-of-the-art-gym. Nayara Springs is connected by two footbridges perched 150 feet high, above the rainforest canopy to our sister property Nayara Gardens.

The spa was incredibly relaxing and felt completely immersed in the rainforest. Most places try to recreate that atmosphere with speakers, but here you’re surrounded by the real sounds of nature—it makes a big difference. Pamela was outstanding. She was attentive, genuinely cared about the treatment, and delivered one of the best massages I’ve had. The whole experience felt thoughtful and high-end without being overdone. I’ll definitely be back.

There are three different "properties" that are part of the larger Nayara resort you can easily walk around amongst if you are staying at the Adults Only Nayara Springs villas, where we stayed. In summary, all I can really say is that you'd be hard-pressed to find better hotel staff anywhere in the world. The consistency of the service and the overall dedicated vibe of the staff is nothing short of remarkable. They are all interested in making your stay the very best possible (which we had - the very best stay!!), every request is met with a yes or 'no problem', the staff are interested in you, how your day went - what feedback you have on any excursion, meal, your villa, anything. They offer their own personal stories without hesitation which really cap the true meaning of hospitality, which in my opinion is a people business. After a week, they feel like your friends. The service itself is outstanding. Little things that they are trained on like everyone stands in reception when a guest walks by, but the untrained things that you just cannot teach are inherent in every single staff member - personality plus - which means the owners are very serious about who they hire! The villas are unbelievable - huge, stunning, very comfy beds, huge bathrooms with his and hers sinks, closets, ample space for two pieces of luggage to store, incredible mini bar with lots of free treats, amazing Costa Rican nespresso style coffee/coffee machine, milk, bottled water and beer refilled daily. The private outdoor shower is incredible. The thermal springs plunge pool with jets is incredibly relaxing where we spent every morning waking up with coffee. The sounds of the rainforest when you wake up and get into the plunge pool are spectacular. The villas are immaculate and attended to twice daily. We stayed in the adults only Nayara Springs villas and found them to be very peaceful and quiet. The only sounds we ever heard were nature at night, and with the AC on and the doors closed you hear nothing. We tried all the restaurants across all three resorts except for Amor Loco as one of us doesn't drink and the other doesn't drink wine so the pairings would have been lost on us. We did get a description of the tasting menu with the staff and it sounded incredible. The food at the other restaurants was fantastic, and our breakfast every morning, which was included, was very good at Mis Amores. You can arrange all your excursions through reception if you want, instead of using Viatour or similar. I get the sense that they carefully vet who they work with for booking these excursions. We did the Rio Celeste guided walk - which essentially took a day and was brilliant, the Volcano Hike, also brilliant and the Night Walk, where we saw incredible things with a guide. Also the coffee and chocolate tour they arranged with Don Juan was so interesting and informative. The night walk was a bit crowded and we waited for other groups to see things before we did, but completely worth it as it's the only opportunity to see some very cool frogs that only come out at night, amongst many other things we saw (unless you do this yourself somehow and know what to look for!) The resort arranged our transfer to and from San Jose - which takes about 3 hours and the drivers were excellent and the transportation very comfortable. You can see A LOT on the property just by walking around - bring your binoculars!! We did do one free guided morning walk that started at 6:10 a.m. and it was completely amazing - we saw sloths, howler monkeys, tons of birds, lizards, iguanas, and learned so much about the purpose of the landscaping and design of the resort which is totally eco-conscious and nature-integrated design. There is a large "monkey corridor" through the middle of the resort (essentially a sort of rainforest valley) which you can cross from a number of bridges. TIP: if you sit on the deck of the Cafecito (best iced cappuccinos you will ever have!) around mid-morning, you will most likely see or hear monkeys go by. Staff, whenever they see something, will point it out to you as well - whether it be a snake (we saw an incredible little one in the driveway), a colourful bird etc. And lastly, I was completely entranced by the landscaping. I'm a big gardener and love plants and flowers, and the care and expertise that went into the landscaping of this place is mind-blowing. A lot of it is purposeful so that the guests are sharing the space with all the wildlife they hope to attract/keep and it works completely. It seems vibrant, healthy and teeming with life. I will definitely be looking into other Nayara properties to visit in the future.

This was by far our most satisfying and memorable trip we have taken. This was our 3d time going to Costa Rica but this topped any of our previous trips. The Nayara Springs was a great experience. The staff were exceptional particularly Anthont Chaves (Tony) our personal host. The property is a tropical paradise, our unit #35 was spacious had outside as well as indoor showers, and a spa pool that was heated by water coming out of the Arenal volcano

We stayed here and loved everything about it. The room was spectacular and so were the people. The breakfast was excellent. Sometimes you travel to a country and you feel resentment from staff--but I have to say there was genuine good feelings here--and not only at the hotel, but with everyone we encountered in this beautiful country. Pura Vida indeed.

We recently stayed at Nayara Springs. From the moment we arrived the service was warm, attentive and genuinely welcoming. Steven Rojas the front desk manager-was very kind and made sure all of our needs were met We loved all of our excursions but our favorite was the hanging bridges and Celeste River walk. Alonzo was our guide for both. He really took the time to get to know us. We learned so much about Costa Rica and the wildlife. Ronnie and all the drivers were so friendly. Our villa was stunning private, spacious and beautifully designed. We loved our plunge pool. The grounds are immaculate and blend seamlessly with nature. This was our second trip and we can’t wait to start planning our third trip. Al Tolken and Mary Rahn
