Honestly I could have lived there was legit the best time I could have asked for! Top tier service mixed with good food and better atmosphere! Esteban was our go to helper! He knew all the animal noises and could point out all the birds reptiles and more! I can’t wait to come back!

What an amazing resort! We had such a lovely time with our family. Gigantic rooms facing the volcano. We were lucky that we got clear views of the peak from our balcony. We stayed at the Arracaria building. The thermal springs were incredibly relaxing. Dunno how they manage it but every single member of staff is amazing! My only regrets are that we didn’t stay here longer and that every other place in Costa Rica is going to be very ordinary afterwards. Def recommend.

The property is absolutely stunning from the moment you pull into the lot. The service is impeccable, check-in was quick and seamless, which we really appreciated after a long drive. There are plenty of hot springs and so much to explore right on the property, yet it’s also conveniently close to town if you want to try local restaurants. The view of Arenal is unbeatable, and the rooms are incredibly spacious. Highly recommended!

The hotel is beautiful and the vistas cannot be beat. The staff are all lovely and super helpful. The hot springs are to die for! The rooms are very comfortable and there is complimentary laundry service. Considering the luxury element, I was surprised to find the food expensive and not that great. We noticed that the dining rooms were largely empty. The second night we opted to drive into town for dinner as there are many local options that are cheaper and better. The breakfast is not included and is just ok. The Club Rio is on site but note that each activity has an associated cost. One of the reasons for staying here was to enjoy that element and I was very surprised that there was an additional cost.

The Springs Hotel is magical place - for our family of 4 (kids 15 and 12) we soaked up the hot springs and had some adventure too! Every detail is meticulously cared for. Stepping into the grand reception, we’re met by Joseph who took his time to introduce us to all the restaurants, activities and hot springs. Our room was exquisite - it had a private hot spring with a breathtaking view of Arenal volcano. You choose whether you’d like to lounge in the hammock, rock on the chairs or linger in the hot spring. There was plenty of space for kids and adults. We had so much fun exploring dozens of hot springs on the property. The biodiversity surrounding them was monumental. For a surge of adrenaline, we sped down the water slide many times. Day two we explored club Rio. The guides showed us animals (monkeys, lizards and turkeys). Before we surged down the rapids on the tubes, we soaked up more hot springs in the green and gorgeous rainforest. Our guides were super fun as we bumped and sped down the river. A huge shout out to Tony at the Treehouse restaurant. He showed us the local sloths across the way, explained the history of the Springs, served us a lovely meal and had many helpful suggestions to enjoy the area. Our goal of this trip was to have epic experiences and the Springs is at the top.
