The Springs Resort & Spa at Arenal

We stayed here at The Spring resort and spa in La Fortuna for 7 nights. My family and I enjoyed the facilities and the staff very much. Esteban Vargas was absolutely a stand out employee. Mikael (restaurant sommelier and waiter) was also outstanding. Jose(Gato), Joe, Byron, Xinia were top notch too! The only negative of the trip was the constant rain / thunderstorm which dampened our trip. Thank you for a relaxing stay. Pura Vida!

What a special place… First of all, the staff is beyond accommodating and super kind, starting with the bell man, Bayron. From the very first tour of the property to all of the hello’s and how are you’s throughout our stay, Bayron the man and provided top notch service. On top of Bayron and the incredible staff, it is such a beautiful resort with so much fun to be had on property. Absolutely recommend a stay here and I cannot wait to be back one day.

Our family of five stayed in the vista plus guest room with a rollaway bed which was perfect as they had their own space. Both rooms had spectacular views of Arenal. The staff was the most accommodating that I’ve ever experienced—helping us with everything from setting up Club Rio plans to assisting with a nail in our tire. We enjoyed the animal sanctuary, horseback riding, and our favorite river tubing at Club Rio. Oscar and Francisco were wonderful guides for horseback riding—taking pics and videos and making sure we felt safe. It was easy to change our schedule as we better understood each activity. We ate at every restaurant and especially loved Ginger Sushi and Las Ventanas. We had breakfast every morning at Tres Cascadas, and though it was expensive, the food was always fresh and delicious. The grounds are gorgeous- so well maintained and clean. We enjoyed every minute of our stay—this was a big splurge for our family and it was worth every penny.

Our stay at The Springs Resort & Spa was absolutely unforgettable! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the breathtaking views, beautiful grounds, and outstanding service. The rooms were stunning—spacious, impeccably clean, and designed to take full advantage of the incredible scenery. Waking up each morning to the views of Arenal Volcano was truly magical. What made our stay even more special was the exceptional hospitality. Every staff member went above and beyond, but Joe was absolutely incredible. His warmth, professionalism, and genuine care made us feel like VIP guests throughout our stay. Joe’s attention to detail and friendly personality truly elevated our experience, and he is one of the main reasons we can’t wait to return. The hot springs, restaurants, wildlife, and overall atmosphere exceeded every expectation. This resort perfectly combines luxury, relaxation, and adventure in one spectacular destination. We loved every minute of our stay and created memories that will last a lifetime. Thank you to Joe and the entire team for making our vacation so special.
