Our stay at The Springs Resort & Spa was simply outstanding. This is truly a top-class luxury destination in every sense of the word. From the moment you arrive, you can feel the exclusivity, privacy, and world-class service. The amenities are exceptional — the hot springs are breathtaking, beautifully designed and surrounded by lush nature. The spa is incredibly relaxing, the gym is fully equipped, and the scenic hiking trails throughout the expansive five-level property offer unforgettable views. The restaurants serve excellent cuisine with high quality ingredients, and every meal felt like a fine dining experience. The game room is also a wonderful touch, giving both kids and adults a space to have fun together. One of the absolute highlights of the property is Club Río Adventure Center, located at the base of the resort. Guests take the internal green shuttle bus down through the vibrant rainforest — a beautiful ride that really showcases the natural surroundings. At Club Río, the activities are incredible. The horseback riding experience was scenic and peaceful, the wildlife sanctuary (zoo) was fascinating, and the river tubing adventure was unforgettable. A special thank you to the amazing guides Gerald, Carlos, and Luis, who made the tubing experience safe, exciting, and full of positive energy. We also want to recognize Jefry Urbina, the photographer, who captured the tubing experience perfectly. His authentic and charismatic personality made the photo session fun and memorable. The presentation afterward — viewing the photos with music in the background — was the perfect ending to an already incredible adventure. This resort is a true gem in Costa Rica. If you are looking for luxury, adventure, nature, and impeccable service all in one place, this is it. Highly recommended for families, couples, and anyone wanting an unforgettable experience!

My wife and I just celebrated a wonderful long Valentines Day weekend at the Springs and had a wonderfully relaxing time with great accommodations and excellent staff. The grand finale was after driving 25 minutes to see half a dozen sloths at Sloth Encounters, only through using a guide and looking through their scope. We came back to the hotel and after the valet heard where we had been drove us in his golf cart 100 meters down the road to see a three toed sloth climb all through the trees at the resort. Enjoy!

Our stay at The Springs Resort & Spa was truly spectacular. The property is expansive and beautifully maintained, with countless areas to explore. It never felt crowded, and there was always something new to discover. The wildlife preserve was absolutely amazing. Seeing sloths up close was unforgettable, and feeding the spider monkeys was a highlight for our entire family. The experience felt immersive and thoughtfully designed. The staff throughout the resort were exceptional — professional, attentive, and consistently welcoming. The rooms were spacious, very clean, and comfortable, with impressive views that added to the overall experience. Our kids loved exploring the property, from the hot springs to the walking paths and wildlife areas. It’s rare to find a resort that genuinely works for both adults and children, but this one does. While the price is undeniably high, the quality of the experience, amenities, and service make it worthwhile. We would highly recommend it to families looking for a memorable stay in La Fortuna.

This hotel has everything. Restaurants, amazing rooms, river for tubing, hot springs, kids game area, you truly don’t need to leave, but should so you can see more of Costa Rica. Bring your rain jacket, since you are higher in that rainforest it does rain. We were there during the “dry” season and it drizzled everyday. We found that when we left to zip line or go white water rafting we were at a lower elevation and it was sunnier. We loved the pizza place for lunch and Asian restaurant for dinner. We did leave the resort to go out to dinner one night. It was good to mix it up. We loved zip lining, tubing, white water rafting and the night walk.

We are here now and blown away by this place. Immaculate, luxurious, safe. We are a family of 3. Pricey for sure- but the place is exquisite- and we find the value. The higher prices keep the riff raff elsewhere- so it doesn’t feel overcrowded. It’s a true luxury experience in the mountains/ jungle . I highly recommend. Wow!
