My husband and I enjoyed 100-minute massages at the spa, and I was fortunate to have Ed as my therapist. His massage was exceptional—very mindful and deeply healing. His touch, breathing, strokes, and skillful techniques relieved my lower back pain and truly helped reset my nervous system. At the beginning, we had a brief conversation, and then he mindfully shifted into quiet presence, giving me space to reconnect with my body and mind. It was such a thoughtful balance. The experience didn’t end with the massage! The champagne and chocolates afterward were a lovely touch. We also spent almost an hour relaxing in the co-ed lounge on the heated, incredibly comfortable chairs, which was the perfect way to ease into our treatments. I also tried the pink salt in the sauna, and my skin is still so smooth! The spa has indoor and outdoor spaces, and I left feeling refreshed and renewed. I highly recommend booking with Ed for a 100-minute massage. You will notice the difference in your body for many days afterward. I’m writing this four days later and still feel wonderful. Thank you for such an outstanding experience! All of the staff members were also very professional and welcoming. Our team stayed at Estancia La Jolla Hotel & Spa during a recent work trip, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience. The hotel was impeccably clean, the rooms were incredibly comfortable, and every staff member we encountered was warm, welcoming, and professional. From check-in to check-out, everything was seamless. The serene atmosphere and beautiful grounds made it feel like a retreat, even though we were there for business. Highly recommended for both work and leisure stays!

From friendly staff, personalized experiences, with beautiful views and food — my husband and I will always chose this hotel to stay at! They go above and beyond to make you feel special and we always leave feeling so grateful for our time here. Our favorite staycation in San Diego!! Acacia at front desk, Grant with Valet and Karina at Greenfinch are amazing humans who deserve recognition! 1000/10!

From the moment I checked in, I noticed the lack of professionalism and guest experience. Not welcome at all from the front desk. The receptionist didn’t mention any of the amenities, directions, hours on any of the services, etc. So when I started asking questions about the above she seemed annoyed. (Maybe she was having a bad day, which is understandable but maybe taking a little break to decompress before being customer facing). Again, I don’t believe this stay was worth the amount spent. The walls are also very thin. You can hear everything from folks in the courtyard, neighboring rooms, the hotel staff rolling their carts down the hallway. Again, not a pleasant getaway and stay. This was my personal experience. I’m hopeful that this was a one off situation and not something others have experienced either.
