Not worth it. Go somewhere else.
Estancia was highly recommended by friends but was a major disappointment. I will not be staying there again nor recommending to friends or colleagues. They give off an appearance of luxury, but service was the worst that I have had in hotels in several years. Check in was late; I spent time in a colleague’s room while awaiting my room. Went to the breakfast restaurant at 8:45 am and was told there was a 40 minute wait. I was a solo and half of the tables were empty but there was no room for one person. I was directed to the Cafe and ordered the breakfast burrito. “We are out of burritos.” So I ordered the breakfast sandwich. “We are out of those too.” I left for several hours to hike and came back to my room at 3:00 pm. No service. Bed was unmade, bathroom uncleaned, etc. Laid down to take a short nap and housekeeping came to the room after 4:00 pm. This appears to be a place that depends on a vibe of luxury to attract customers, but is far from the level of service for a high quality hotel. The location is good. The rooms are fair; I had a “cabana room” with outside patios but without furniture. I noticed other cabana rooms had variable furniture, some with 2 chairs, some with one, some with none. I suggest staying somewhere else.

Top notch spa and resort
White lotus level spa. I did four treatments, all were excellent. The spa and resort super relaxing chill vibe top notch, highly recommend. Beautiful La Jolla resort one of the best I’ve been to. I would definitely return and highly recommend!

Perfect Hotel for your San Diego Stay
This property is absolutely beautiful, with classy rooms and comfortable bedding. We truly felt that the price was well worth the experience. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, always ready to help in any way they could. Luxruy meets Affordability.

Lovely experience
Amazing experience! Resort is so beautiful and excellent customer service. The Greenfinch was delicious and Karina provided the best service for breakfast. Loved our room with a balcony overlooking the pool area! Night live music was such a gem 🩷

A great stay at Estancia
My wife and I stayed here for the weekend and couldn’t recommend it enough. Great hotel with immaculate service, grounds & rooms. Highly recommend the inside bar as well, Kevin was our bartender and was a wealth of knowledge. Highly, highly recommended.
