Grand Colonial Outshines La Valencia
Prefer the Grande Colonial over La Valencia.......same amenities, luxurious accommodations, great restaurant for 1/2 the cost.

Gorgeous stay for friends' wedding trip
I LOVE this hotel! After staying there for work several times over the years, I always wanted to stay on a personal trip. When invited to a wedding in La Jolla, I booked to stay with my husband and a dear friend. We shared a room in the Tudor building with a King bedroom, living room with a fold out bed, generous bathroom and kitchenette. We even had a small balcony where we enjoyed coffee and pastries one morning. I will stay there again and again.
