Great location
Overall nice stay, they have a golf cart shuttle to take you within several blocks of the hotel so if you don’t feel like walking it’s a nice alternative.

Great location and service
Visited for a mother daughter staycation. This hotel was lovely. An older building but clean and well kept. Service was outstanding. All staff we encountered were very kind and helpful. We had a great view of the La Jolla coast, comfortable beds, clean room, ideal location, complimentary water and snacks in the room, and easy valet access. The pool is small but cute and nice to have if you want to use it. I would not recommend the room service breakfast, but there are plenty of other options nearby. walkable to lots of shops and restaurants, the Children's beach and the Cove. The gelato spot around the corner was a great find that we hit multiple times. We would definitely stay at this hotel again.

Grande Colonial was very chic in a great location to walk everywhere. Staff was super nice and accomdating. Would visit again!
