Perfect La Jolla location!
I stayed at the Grande Colonial for five nights, and it was just perfect. My room was comfortable and quiet, the hotel was clean and well-maintained, and the location can't be beat. I was able to walk everywhere (shops and restaurants in the village, to the Cove, etc), and I so appreciated its proximity. My daughter lives in La Jolla, and I'd absolutely stay at the Grande Colonial for future visits!

Grande Colonial is always A+++!
Our family has been visiting LaJolla and staying at the Grande Colonial for almost 20 years. The location is perfect - a block from the ocean and 1/2 way between The Children’s Pool and The Cove. Fun shopping and restaurants are a short walk away - Puesto, George’s at the Cove, The Taco Stand, Parakeet Cafe, Brick and Bell, Better Buzz - and the atmosphere of the hotel is cozy and classy! GC’s highly rated Nine Ten restaurant is even on site. The welcoming valet, bright lobby and cheerful staff create the ideal kickoff to a few days on the Southern California Coast. The rooms are very clean, quiet and comfortable, complete with quality mattresses and pillows, and incredible ocean views. The fellow guests during our stays have ALWAYS been a reserved, classy and respectful crowd too! The service is speedy and extremely helpful should you need advice or extra towels. Thank you Grande Colonial for providing the ideal setting to enjoy SoCal. See you in 2027! A+++

Great Spot for a Professional Event
We’ve had a fantastic experience at NINE-TEN! The food is excellent, the staff is professional and attentive, and the location in La Jolla is hard to beat. Everything from start to finish was seamless. The team was welcoming and accommodating, and the service during our event was smooth and unobtrusive. It’s a wonderful atmosphere whether you’re dining or hosting a gathering. If you’re planning an event, their events team is great to work with, organized, responsive, and truly helpful in making everything run smoothly. Highly recommend!
