Hotel Indigo La Paz Puerta Cortes

Six nights in room 401. Wonderful balcony over looking the marina and part of the sea. The room had a great little kitchen , small family room and bedroom with comfy bed. Three sets of patio doors which we kept open all night for a wonderful breeze. The resort was incredibly clean with very friendly staff, who had any request filled in seconds. We ate some meals at the Barco restaurant. A little pricey and food was just good, but the wait staff made up for that. Such amazing fun people. I can’t remember all the names, Ernesto, the guy who loves chocolate, the guy with the Olympic tattoo and the one guy who couldn’t speak any English were so much fun. Pool and beach were clean and again with friendly staff. The one BAD thing was the large white floaters in the water off the beach. Full of stinky bird poo, scum, and algae. Should be cleaned more often. Love that the hotel was right next to the marine where we could eat other places and do evening walks.

Away from the hustle of LaPaz. Perfect convenient access to the marina which is why we stayed. Do note, currently there is a lot of building construction in the area around the marina so it is not particularly quiet (daytime). Settles down at night. Cost of Food/Dining was quite high, so we chose to go elsewhere for dining, but the hotel was clean and comfortable and staff were great.

First time in La Paz and was so excited to stay at this property. Unfortunately, they continuously fell short on their service. If you’re diamond elite, you will never be treated that way. You have to ask for your benefits. No early check in. The room was ready after 3. They said they could switch us to a suite after asking about an upgrade the next day. Continuously two different answers and never able to speak to a manager. Accepted the room change and the front desk woman said it would be ready by 2. Checked in around 3 and the room was still not ready. Meanwhile this was a 2 night stay so what’s the point at that point after needing to get ready for the evening. The room was still not ready until 3:45. After being told multiple times by 2. The main pool by the hotel was not heated. Very cold. The beach pool half the morning was being cleaned and could not get in until 11. Once beach service started the waiters you had to track down to even get an order in. Highly disappointed and will not be returning. Save your money for a nice hotel downtown and go to a beach near the area.

I am normally very fussy when it comes to massages but i just had the best deep tissue massage ever with Jakelyn she really got into all my knots! I highly recommend her, very kind and professional. She ended the treatment and placed a heat pack around my neck and offered me tea. Such a nice touch.

Our mornings would always start with a smile from Elizabeth. She would always engage with us at breakfast and remember us if she saw us while working at the beach club. She took the time to help me with my Spanish and really make us feel welcomed. We learned that she was training to be a receptionist, which we think she’ll be a perfect fit. We cannot wait to visit again and see her behind the front desk!
