Reviews for Baja Club

my experinece

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 weeks ago

The hotel was special is that it doesn't feel like a chain hotel trying to manufacture an experience. It feels authentic, thoughtful/ The rooms were comfortable, and incredibly well-designed. The entire hotel felt elevated yet welcoming. It's one of those rare properties that feels just as memorable as the destination itself. The staff was wonderful, and I especially want to recognize the outstanding customer service I received regarding a reservation issue. The team took the time to carefully review my case, communicate throughout the process, and ultimately find a fair resolution. It was handled with professionalism, and a genuine desire to do right by the guest. I can't wait to go back and would highly recommend Baja Club Hotel to anyone visiting La Paz.

Baja Club Hotel, La Paz

We had an excellent stay at the Baja Club Hotel, La Paz. It's in a great location, right on the Malecon, and an easy walk to Zona Central, restaurants and bars. The rooms are clean and charming. And the hotel design is very chic. The pool is nice, with lounge chairs and a bar. The rooftop has a great sunset view and big bar. Breakfast was great, with both indoor and outdoor seating. The staff (concierge Roberto, and front desk Natalia & Fernando) were very friendly and helpful with reservations and suggestions. Great time! Peter & Christy

Great location but unpleasant

Rooms are uncomfortable and very basic. The pool is unwelcoming, and pool loungers are mats on the floor.

Not that good

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 months ago

Great location, nice rooms and that is it. Unfriendly staff (no one, absolutely no one ever smiles), VERY slow service at all times and some very weird things like a simple espresso not included in the breakfast (but filter coffee is) or the rooftop not accessible every second day because of private events.

A truly special place in La Paz

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 5 months ago

Baja Club was one of the best hotel experiences I’ve had in a very long time, start to finish. It’s a special place, and you’re lucky if you get to stay here in La Paz. First: the room. It was amazing. The scent alone was incredible! The attention to detail is next-level, and everything felt thoughtfully curated: an incredible shower, a cozy bed, great robes, and genuinely good lighting (which is rare and so appreciated). Next: the property itself is downright gorgeous. The blend of the old hacienda with the newer building in the back is stunning, like something straight out of Architectural Digest. We had so many standout moments here: drinks on the rooftop, decompressing at the quiet pool after beach days, and our absolute favorite, sitting by the chimeneas at night with a fire going and cocktails in hand. Pure magic. We also loved breakfast in the courtyard as it was such a beautiful way to start the day. The staff truly made the experience. We don’t remember our breakfast server’s name (he’s studying to be a detective!), but he was wonderful, always starting our mornings with a smile and great suggestions. Alejandro was also incredibly sweet and full of energy, and Jose was super helpful. The whole team rocked. And finally: Fernando at the front desk. He is truly a rockstar. His service and care made our trip feel seamless, welcoming, and extra special. Baja Club is the kind of hotel you keep thinking about after you leave. Can’t recommend it enough and I can’t wait to go back.
