Six Senses Laamu is the only resort in the Laamu Atoll, deep in the Indian Ocean. Memorable place for family vacation
My family and I had the pleasure of having our second trip to Six Senses Laamu this March 2026. The team at Six Senses welcomed us back and made us feel right at home. The team at every restaurant in the resort was amazing. I would like to specially mention Hisham and Anwar for their service. Our GEM Shah, took great care of us during our stay. He went above and beyond for us to make sure our stay was amazing and unforgettable. He is very considerate, attentive and made sure the family got to enjoy the best during our stay. We noticed during both of our stays that he was exceptional with his service. Both of our stays here at Six Senses Laamu was very memorable. I will highly recommend Six Senses Laamu for anyone looking for a vacation.

Family Vacation: Sixth Sense Laamu
This was our second trip to the resort, and it was just as memorable as our first. Shah, our resident gem, was assigned to our family to accommodate our needs and assist with our itinerary. He is one of the kindest people I have ever met. He treats our family like his own, and even though it had been two years since our last visit, the atmosphere felt unchanged. The teams working at the restaurants, Chill Bar and Leaf, were always accommodating and kind, attending to all our wants and needs. Notable staff members who made our trip feel so welcoming and catered to our requests were Hisham and Shuaib from Chill Bar, as well as Ansaar, Kathu, Noah, Shuaau, Rayan, and Rakin from Leaf restaurant. The spa also had wonderful staff who carefully curated the massages to our requests with gentle care and attention. Our room was beautiful and very clean. The beds were turned down almost twice a day, and the shutters were lowered when we returned from dinner, creating a relaxing ambience before we slept. Overall, one of the most notable things about this resort is its eco-friendly environment and practices, which allow guests to fully enjoy the natural surroundings. The service is perfect and welcoming—from the moment you arrive, it truly feels like you have come home.

March 2026 Trip to Six Senses Laamu
It was our second trip to Six Senses Laamu, and it definitely was worth it. The rooms and the food at the resort were amazing, and to top it off, the coral garden and the seagrass area that the resort protects are great for snorkellers and divers. Our GEM (Guest Experience Maker) Shah was very attentive, kind, professional and full of initiative. He made sure the entire family got to experience the best of our holiday. He knew that we enjoyed snorkelling and made sure that we got to experience both the coral gardens of the island and the seagrass area of the island by signing us up for the snorkelling tour with the resident marine biologist team. My brothers and I really appreciated this. Also, last time we visited, which was about 2 years ago, my brother had to leave early and missed out on the Japanese-themed dinner. Even without us mentioning this, Shah took note of this and made the arrangements for my brother to have Japanese food at dinner this time, even though it was not a Japanese-themed night. This was surprisingly well thought out by Shah. We have noticed that Shah, as well as the rest of the staff team at Six Senses Laamu, goes above and beyond for the guests to ensure we enjoy the maximum of our holiday and that we feel at home at Six Senses Laamu. The service by Shah was exceptional. Additional mention to the following team members for making our stay at Six Senses Laamu wonderful: Hisham, Shuaib, Ansaar, Kathu, Noah, Shuaau, Rayan, Rakin, Nishan, and Dani. Its the people that make a place memorable, and the team at Six Senses Laamu are exceptional at that. 10/10 would recommend everyone to stay at Six Senses Laamu.

The service by six senses laamu staff is unmatched compared to all the resorts U have been to the GEM are so helpful especially Shah who has been our GEM the two times we’ve been to the resort. I would also like to say a special thank you to all the staffs that helped make this trip so worth while (Shuaib,Ansaar,Rakin,Noah,Shuaau) especially to Shah and Hisham for such amazing service as they really do go above and beyond to take care of your needs.
