Very quaint, Spanish style almost magical hotel walking distance to Victoria Beach

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 4 days ago

Entire stay was very enjoyable! Parking is a little limited but available and the beach; while you have to walk to it, you are very close to an underpass that allows you to get to beautiful Victoria Beach. There is a little road noise as it is on PCH and the property is away from the downtown of Laguna Beach - you will need to drive to restaurants as walking is a little treacherous especially at night. The pool area is great, the property is very, very quaint and in a way magical with all these hidden areas. There is even a little tower off the pool that has a chairs and a table that overlook the ocean. We stayed in the Ocean Front room that has a little shared walkway with benches where you can watch the sunset. The food is very good and well priced. We have already booked another stay for the summer.

Charming ...but

Casa Laguna is a charming property but overpriced in my opinion. The room didn't merit the 660$ price tag, and then to be hit with a resortt fee on top of that seemed completely unnecessary.

Beautiful Spanish Villa Vibes

Casa Laguna is an absolute gem—truly a five-star experience from start to finish. The property feels like a charming European escape, with its stunning design and peaceful atmosphere overlooking the ocean. From the moment you arrive, you’re welcomed with a refreshing drink, setting the tone for a relaxing and thoughtful stay. The staff were incredibly friendly and engaging, making everything feel warm and personalized without ever being over the top. Every detail, from the beautifully designed spaces to the tranquil ambiance, made it hard to leave. If you’re looking for a boutique hotel that feels like a coastal getaway in Europe without leaving California, this is it.

Boutique feel but impractical

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 weeks ago

The room was poor - small, no dresser drawers - no place to put my clothes. Comforter was way too hot and weird sheets. No tub in bathroom. Pocket door to bathroom was broken. No shower cap in bathroom. On the positive side - nice soaps and very comfortable mattress. Expensive for what it was

Wonderful Mediterranean style getaway in Laguna Beach

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 weeks ago

A charming small, very clean hotel with beautifully landscaped grounds, a heated pool, and lovely Spanish-style architecture. The rooms have artistic touches that reflect the area's creative history — the property apparently once housed art studios, and even after renovation it still feels warm and unique. Our room had a direct view of the ocean. The staff (especially Kent) were genuinely friendly and went out of their way to be helpful. Breakfast was delicious and included, with plenty of fresh fruit. A relaxing place to stay with lots of character — I’d happily return.
