Montage Laguna Beach

Stayed in the Montage while on a road trip of the South Western United States. Spectacular location, situated high over the Pacific ocean with uninterrupted views of the sea. One of the nicest lobby areas I've ever seen in a hotel; there is a piano there, with a player onsite for every afternoon of our visit. Service was excellent, food was really good, they do smores for families every evening by the pool. Nicest hotel we visited in our tour of Las Vegas, San Diego and Los Angeles. Stunning.

Wonderful in every way! We ate at their restaurant, The Studio. It is our 3rd or 4th time going, when we are on vacation in the area. Love the piano music in the lobby after dinner. The views are the best in the area in my opinion.

This property sits in a great area and is surrounded by great restaurants, and wonder sights. We joined friends on the property and have to say that we enjoyed the atmosphere very much. So far this is my second favorite Montage property following closely behind Pendry San Diego. I am more of a city guy and a people watcher. Recommend Montage Laguna beach for sure!

We stayed here for a mini family vacation before dropping our daughter off at college. It’s a great location - atop a cliff, with direct access to a beach down some steps. There’s beach service on a first come, first served basis. There’s beach rooms are large and comfy..the complimentary yoga and discounted aroma/movement classes ($25) are a lovely touch. The fitness center is well appointed. There are two pools - one adult only by the spa and then the main pool. We only had breakfast because it was included with our stay and didn’t try the restaurant beyond that. The live music in the lounge is enjoyable. The property accommodates families with kids of all ages, couples etc with apparent ease. The parking situation is a little nuts ($75/night) for valet parking, but it is super convenient. It was a wonderful place to stay as we want our daughter off to college.
