We had an outstanding experience on our boat charter booked through Montage Laguna Beach and Aperitivo. . Captain Mark was exceptional, knowledgeable, and genuinely committed to making our day unforgettable while providing outstanding service from start to finish. We highly recommend Captain Mark to anyone looking for a first-class charter experience and can’t wait to book with him again.

Everyone is so welcoming at the Montage Laguna Beach! The bluff top trails are magical and the Mosaic pool is pristine, so is the spa pool and we loved our facials & massages! The sunset dinners at Studio are really something special! There is always something special to find at “Treasures” gift shop too! Great vacation spot!!!

The Montage Laguna Beach is a spectacular resort and exactly what we were looking for in a relaxing beach getaway. The setting is simply stunning, perched on the bluff overlooking the Pacific with beautifully maintained grounds, incredible ocean views, and direct beach access. It’s one of those properties where you immediately feel yourself slow down. Service staff were consistently warm, professional, and efficient, making the stay feel seamless and special. The Lobby Lounge became one of our favourite spots. Between the live piano music, lively atmosphere, excellent cocktails, and panoramic ocean views, it was the perfect place to unwind before or after dinner. One small disappointment was room service. We ordered a club sandwich and a Coke. It was delicious but the delivery fee exceeded the cost of the food, which felt excessive and hard to justify. The location is perfect if your goal is to enjoy Laguna Beach. You’re close to the town, beautiful beaches, hiking trails, art galleries, and excellent restaurants. However, I wouldn’t recommend staying here if your primary plan is to explore Los Angeles. Depending on traffic, the drive can easily stretch to three hours, so it’s much better to think of the Montage as a destination in its own right rather than a base for visiting LA. Overall, this is a beautiful resort with impeccable service, breathtaking surroundings, and a wonderfully relaxing atmosphere. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would absolutely return the next time we’re looking for a luxury beach escape in Laguna Beach.

This is one of the most beautiful resort properties we have visited. The hotel staff, restaurants and amenities were amazing. We can’t wait to visit the Montage again.

My family of four (including two children under 12) spent two nights at Montage Laguna Beach just before July 4th, 2026, and the entire experience was exceptional from start to finish. We spent most of our time enjoying the beautiful beach, where the food, beverage, and lounge chair service were consistently excellent. The adjacent beach was just as enjoyable, and we felt very comfortable knowing there were attentive lifeguards on duty throughout the day. Our kids loved every minute there. We also spent a good amount of time at the main pool, and once again, the service provided by the pool and food attendants was top-notch. Whether it was towels, snacks, or simply checking in, the staff made everything effortless. Service throughout the resort was outstanding across the board—front desk, valet, bell desk, the Loft restaurant team, and even the gift shop staff all made us feel welcome and well taken care of. We want to give special recognition to two individuals who truly went above and beyond: • Nolan (Bell Service) – Extremely attentive, kind, and genuinely helpful. His professionalism and warmth made a wonderful impression on our family. • Juan (Room Service) – Very friendly and thoughtful, and his service made our stay even more pleasant… simply put, he went above and beyond our every expectation. Both Nolan and Juan elevated our experience and are great examples of the hospitality that makes Montage Laguna Beach such a memorable place to stay. Overall, we had a fantastic family getaway and would happily return. Highly recommended for families looking for exceptional service and a beautiful, relaxing beachfront stay.
