Montage Laguna Beach

I came to Montage Laguna Beach excited to share the resort with my partner, only to leave in tears. Shortly after arriving, a security guard named Kevin followed us, asked if we were staying the night, and when I said not yet, he told us to leave. I was stunned this is a public space, and I was considering a room. He insulted me, implying I couldn’t afford to stay. He even said the least I should have done was buy a drink, told me to ‘keep moving,’ and never come back. When I said I was from Irvine and visit often, he scoffed, saying ‘yeah, right.’ He mocked me further, saying I could check his bank account. It was completely inappropriate for him to compare finances and imply I couldn’t afford it no guest should be subjected to such personal remarks. I expect management to seriously address this no visitor should be treated with such disrespect.

Luxury ocean-front property. 2nd timing staying here. Attended for a business conference. Excellent service and onsite food. Will return.

Amazing Hotel with stunning views of the beach and ocean. Highly recommend! The pool staff were there for our every need from towels to drinks and food.
