If you are looking for a truly special getaway, the Montage is exceptional in every way. We stayed to celebrate my son’s birthday, and it could not have been a more perfect place for the occasion. From the moment you arrive, the property is simply breathtaking. The grounds are beautifully maintained with stunning views and so many peaceful spaces to sit, relax, and take it all in. It immediately creates a sense of calm and makes it easy to fully unwind and recharge. What truly elevates the experience, however, is the staff. Every single person we encountered was warm, gracious, and genuinely attentive. The level of hospitality throughout the property is remarkable and makes you feel completely welcomed and cared for during your entire stay. The food was equally impressive—impeccable in both quality and presentation. Every meal felt thoughtfully prepared and added to the overall experience. This hotel manages to combine elegance, comfort, and outstanding service in a way that makes a stay feel both luxurious and deeply relaxing. It was a wonderful way to celebrate my son’s birthday and created such special memories for our family. I cannot recommend the Montage highly enough. Whether you are celebrating a special occasion or simply looking for a beautiful place to relax and recharge, this property truly shines.

This is a beautiful Resort. We had a room with an ocean view, king size bed. Servers, Housekeeping, everyone was extremely helpful and well informed. Food was great. Yes, it’s expensive. It’s a resort. Prices are always high on food and drink at resorts. It’s really an unforgettable experience.

I am sad to be writing this review. I was so excited to go to this property after having an amazing experience at the montage is Cabo. Unfortunately, it missed the mark on nearly everything. I went with my mom and two young kids. Our morning flight was delayed so we arrived around 6pm. Check in was incredibly chaotic. The woman checking us in kept repeating herself and asking the same questions over and over and just seemed super overwhelmed. Eventually she got us checked in and walked us to our room but it was clear she had no idea where she was going. She left us standing outside on a sidewalk while “made sure she knew where our room was.” Another major issue was with housekeeping. There were multiple days that we would come back from the pool or an activity at 2 or 3pm and our room still was not cleaned. We had to ask for it to be cleaned almost everyday. There was also one night when housekeeping knocked on our door at 9pm at night for turn down service. We were already in bed and it was super disruptive. The service was just off the entire time. One night I went to get a drink at the bar and I sat at the bar for 5 mins before someone acknowledged me despite the fact that there were multiple people working behind the bar. The food was overall fine but we had one horrible room service experience- I ordered hamburgers for my kids and they took one bite and spit them out. They were charred to a crisp and completely inedible. The property is stunning and the rooms are nice but the price does not at all match the experience.
