The Ranch at Laguna Beach

Top notch and thoughtful accommodations, friendly and professional staff, great location though there was some construction on the property (but not noticeable in all the spots we were in) while we were there (Feb 2026). We spent a few nights for a milestone birthday and really enjoyed our stay. The golf course is gorgeous. Highly recommend, esp for golfers.

When I came back with family, it felt like an entirely new experience in the best way. The cottages are ideal for families, especially with separate bedrooms that give everyone space to spread out and relax. It never felt cramped or overly formal — just comfortable, elevated, and thoughtfully designed. The bar deserves a special mention. Great cocktails, a laid-back yet polished atmosphere, and that secluded vibe that makes you want to linger a little longer. It’s the kind of place where you can unwind after a productive day or settle in for a relaxed evening with family. Overall, I highly recommend it. Whether you’re traveling for work, with family, or both, The Ranch delivers something rare: a stay that feels personal, peaceful, and distinctly different from the standard luxury formula.

Beautiful little canyon gem, tucked away from the hustle of the city. Staff was amazing, food at restaurants was top notch, live entertainment was wonderful, while enjoying a drink and enjoying the golf course mountain canyon views.

Truly, a five star place....... 1. Great staff- kind and friendly vs the over the top types one experiences at other high end places 2. Ambiance is perfect- very relaxed and devoid of the pool bling types that seem to be norm at many 4-5 star resorts today 3. Very nice room with a gorgeous bathroom(high pressure shower too!) 4. Loved the relaxing fire pits at night with music, nice way to end the day 5. The restaurant was great too. Amazing food and an intimate place that balances relax with elegant.

Amazing hotel in an amazing setting! They treat their guests like royalty!! Can’t wait to return and enjoy this spectacular hotel. The food is also fantastic.
