Hotel Villa Flori

What an experience!! This hotel is classy, accommodating and right on Lake Como. It sits between Cenobbio and Como - two great and scenic towns to visit. Everything about this hotel is top notch. The staff is excellent

A hotel experience begins from the moment you arrive. The first words we received were “passport”, no welcome, no smile after a 9 hr journey to get here. Carried our own bags in. Given a key and that was it. Would have loved a smile or glass of water. Fortunately someone helped us to our rooms with our bags who was lovely. Second try; went downstairs, having found out that you cant swim in the lake or anywhere nearby and there is no pool, to ask where we could swim. Received a hands in pockets shrug, no help, “there are pools”. That was it. No map, no introduction to the hotel or the area. Nothing, go figure it out on your own. The Hotel is on a major road with very heavy traffic, nothing is close by that you can reach via a pleasant walk. You have to walk a min of 1.5 km to get to anywhere to eat and to get off the major road. Still have not found where we could possibly swim. This is our 4th stay in Lake Como, first time at this hotel, could not be more disappointed.

If you want a hotel in Como that is close enough to walk but away from the noise, has a unique and very interesting history depicted in the decor and vibe, and amazing service this is the one. I expected a lot for the price and was not disappointed.

Perfect location… ( BUT)…great suite views and balcony…Great food… lovely and helpful staff….excellent porterage…..A Deluxe suite it is NOT… 20 year old televisions x2 which are appalling …. Internet 🛜 is shockingly old fashioned….. chairs and couch that your granny would have thrown out years ago…and at an expensive price…. Without the view and balcony we would not have stayed…..and it’s expensive. Such a pity that the owners have not invested to get the detail right… such excellent potential.

Our stay at Hotel Villa Flori was truly a paradise on Lake Como! From the moment we arrived, we were incredibly impressed. The hotel is absolutely beautiful—an authentic Italian gem with so much charm and elegance. Our room had the most magical view of the lake, surrounded by breathtaking mountains. Waking up to that scenery every morning was unforgettable. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast each day, and every member of the staff was warm, welcoming, and genuinely kind. We also loved relaxing with an Aperol Spritz at the bar overlooking the lake, and one evening we had the pleasure of dining at the hotel’s Michelin-star reimondi restaurant, which was an exceptional experience. What made our stay even more special was the outstanding hospitality. The hotel manager Mattia went above and beyond, recommending wonderful activities to help us experience the best of Lake Como. One day, we borrowed the complimentary hotel bikes, visited the local green market, and rode to a nearby town cernobbio where we enjoyed an amazing lunch at cafe lido. Our favorite experience was the private boat tour arranged by the manager. We explored the most beautiful spots around Lake Como, swam in the crystal-clear water, and the hotel thoughtfully provided towels, Aperol Spritz, water, and snacks. Our boat guide Eduardo was fantastic and made the day even more memorable. Mattia Thank you for the thoughtful bottle of champagne to celebrate my daughter’s graduation. It was a wonderful surprise, and we truly enjoyed it while taking in the amazing view from our balcony. Thank you, Hotel Villa Flori, for an unforgettable stay. We absolutely fell in love with your beautiful hotel and the incredible hospitality. We can’t wait to come back!
