Everything about the Villa D’Este is spectacular and done with great care, passion, and elegance. Every staff member I met went above and beyond to make things perfect. Big thank you to Barbara Gibellini for making us feel welcome

What an amazing hotel! It’s so much more than a historical gem. The palatial interiors and magnificent gardens are a privilege to reside in. The restaurants Grill and Veranda are sublime decadence. The staff throughout are courteous and never show signs of fatigue even in the height of summer. This is truly an amazing hotel .

This hotel surpassed all of my expectations. My friend and I arrived at the hotel, a little weary from traveling from the United States. We were able to check in a little early, which was much appreciated. They had a lovely silver bowl with fresh peaches waiting for us when we got to our room. We had a beautiful view of the lake. The blackout shutters are the best I have ever experienced. The beds were so comfortable and ensured a long deep sleep. The food was exquisite! I recommend having drinks by the pool. The Rossini was my favorite. The staff were attentive and met or exceeded every expectation. Their breakfast buffet was so fabulous. everything I had was so wonderful. The grounds are so beautiful and I cannot wait to come here again!

Everything about this hotel is wonderful but I had a theft from my room . My mistake was leaving purchases out near the chair and it must have been noticed that I came in with packages. I didn’t realize my missing purchases until I got home. Below are the purchases I made in Como and Bellagio which never arrived home with me.

One of the best hotels I've ever been. The place is a dream and the service and personnel are amazing. Breakfast by the lake will be one of your best experiences. Totally worth it
