This hotel surpassed all of my expectations. My friend and I arrived at the hotel, a little weary from traveling from the United States. We were able to check in a little early, which was much appreciated. They had a lovely silver bowl with fresh peaches waiting for us when we got to our room. We had a beautiful view of the lake. The blackout shutters are the best I have ever experienced. The beds were so comfortable and ensured a long deep sleep. The food was exquisite! I recommend having drinks by the pool. The Rossini was my favorite. The staff were attentive and met or exceeded every expectation. Their breakfast buffet was so fabulous. everything I had was so wonderful. The grounds are so beautiful and I cannot wait to come here again!

Everything about this hotel is wonderful but I had a theft from my room . My mistake was leaving purchases out near the chair and it must have been noticed that I came in with packages. I didn’t realize my missing purchases until I got home. Below are the purchases I made in Como and Bellagio which never arrived home with me.

One of the best hotels I've ever been. The place is a dream and the service and personnel are amazing. Breakfast by the lake will be one of your best experiences. Totally worth it

Villa d"Este was like living a dream. Our breath was taken away by the views from our suite in the Queens Building. The estate is beautifully maintained and a pleasure to spend time in. Time to relax, to take in the stunning views. We were so impressed by the wonderful food offerings , so much so that, after dining outside of Villa d'Este , we then cancelled further bookings and stayed within the hotel. The Grill, Pletano and the Verandah ..all offered amazing experiences. We celebrated my wifes birthday at Verandah and in addition to the stunning food were looked after by a wonderful team of professionals. Francesco is the perfect example of a caring and welcoming host. He made sure every dinner and breakfast was a memorable event. Be aware the pool at Villa d'este is often overrun with children (so too the Jacuzzi) and may not be the quiet elegant situation that you had hoped for. But, get away from the crowds, and you will find places to enchant and capture your heart. A boat tour is also recommended. Date of experience: June 2025

This was a family trip…we had 3 garden view rooms total. It is quite simply a beautiful hotel with magnificent grounds. The service was exceptional…no request was overlooked. Definitely a bucket list place! Thank you to the entire staff…we’ll be back!
