A symbol of Rocky Mountain splendor for more than a century, Fairmont Banff Springs embodies peace of mind. This secluded escape in Banff National Park in the Canadian Rockies is styled after a Scottish baronial castle. From cozy guest rooms tucked into castle corners to spacious suites with sweeping views, youâ€(TM)ll marvel at the level of luxury. Roaming elk, the Willow Stream spa and a wealth of fine dining make this a fascinatingly diverse escape.

This evening we had the most amazing experience, seeing the rockies after dark. Our guide Alex was amazing and so knowledgable and helpful. This is one of the best things we have done and we are so glad we booked this trip. 100% worth doing. The locations we where taken to are some of the best spots you wouldn’t find by just wandering on your own, having a guide like Alex who is so passionate makes the experience extra special.

We spend a long weekend at the Fairmont Banff Springs every November, and it continues to be our favourite Fairmont property. The hotel was as beautiful as ever, and the service across the board was consistently excellent. The Gold Floor Lounge was exceptional — the breakfast and canapés exceeded our expectations. We also enjoyed a great lunch at the Vermillion Room (the braised short rib poutine was outstanding), and had fantastic cocktails at the Rundle Bar — the mini crispy wings there are a must-try. We also had a chance to check out Grapes as a new pizza spot — highly recommend the Morty and the Polpette! It was wonderful to see the beginning of the Christmas decorations going up in the Stanley Thompson Wing, and we loved the new sitting area for playing games. Another incredible stay at the Castle in the Rockies. We can’t wait for next November.

Stunning property surrounded by nature. Breathtaking views, elegant rooms, and excellent service. It truly feels like staying in a castle.

My wife and I were just married this past weekend and scheduled a last-minute honeymoon/I wish I could say that our stay at this hotel was comfortable and refreshing, but unfortunately, I would describe it as underwhelming and disappointing. We had booked a Fairmont Gold category room as recommended by the customer contact centre. Upon arrival, the Gold floor staff were not aware of our reservation, and we were asked to wait in our vehicle while they verified the booking on the computer — despite my explanation that the reservation was made at the last minute and likely hadn’t printed on the daily report. Whilst I understand it can be inconvenient for those to unload their vehicles in the wrong area and disrupt operations it felt slightly patronizing. When we arrived to the front desk we were advised we were placed in what we were told was an upgraded room; however, it was located right next to the lounge area and proved to be rather loud and uncomfortable especially in the early mornings. The lounge itself felt cramped and somewhat chaotic, and obtaining breakfast or even coffee was nothing short of a circus due to the layout of the space. Fairmont gold is not worth the experience by any stretch. I would say the service was average

Only stayed one night but the experience was well worth it. Historic hotel, impeccable service, many restaurants to choose from.
