Reviews for Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise

expensive but limited other options and location location location

Really lovely room, free upgrade to lake view, nice hotel, nice grounds, expensive nights accomodation - close to 1000 canadian dollars for the night. Difficult to understand how they can charge a 50 canadian dollar resort fee for use of pool (which we never used), and car parking charge also expensive - location location location

Bucket list experience.

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 days ago

We spent three days at the Fairmont Banff Springs and four days at the Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise. This was a bucket list experience for my wife and I along with my two adult children. The Gold Lounge was incredible just like staying at an all inclusive hotel with fantastic food always available. The Gold Lounge allowed us to spend more time together as a family. Emily in the lounge was so kind and outgoing. The fairmont management deserves special recognition for staffing the lounge with the most outstanding attendants. The best hikes are right outside the back door of the hotel. Thanks to concierge for making arrangements to visit Lake Moraine. The pictures look like they are AI generated. Definitely one of the most beautiful places on the earth. Glacial Basin was the icing on the cake. Another incredible experience...the Disney World of spas with the best views of the lake thru 20 foot picture glass windows. The Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise and Fairmont Banff Springs are the crowned jewels of hotels. Nothing else compares.

The spot to be in Lake Louise

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 weeks ago

This is a big hotel that really has it figured out. Everything, check-in, food, spa, check-out, was seamless. Basin Glacial Waters is an awesome experience, one I'll never forget. The lake views are insane. Rooms on the smaller end, but to be expected. Would absolutely return.

At Chateau Lake Louise in Alberta, Canada, the many delights of this mini-vacation began with the views of beautiful Lake Louise from our luxurious room on the Gold Floor. Our days were filled with cross-country skiing, invigorating hikes in the snow, afternoon high tea, evening happy hours, and a fantastic birthday dinner at Poppie's Restaurant in the Chateau! All this was made even more enjoyable by the ever friendly and helpful hotel staff. What was the highlight of this trip? How can we choose - we loved it all!
