Stunning Location

Expensive. Tiny room, though with modern furniture and fittings. The view from the window does make up for it somewhat.

Car park view for $3k (USD)

Completely overpriced for a very dated hotel! Views from the front of the hotel are great but I will not be visiting again. $3k for a family of 4 for a view of a car park!

TOO CROWDED WITH LARGE TOUR GROUPS

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 4 days ago

This Fairmont Lake Louise is a truly elegant old-school hotel. It is mobbed with tourists beyond reasonable capacity. We understand the need to accommodate very large tour groups, but there needs to be control. The rooms, even upgraded ones, are small and the bathrooms are tiny (3 feet square). A suite is probably really nice, but that comes with very high price points. Setting is gorgeous. Staff is friendly.

This hotel has ruined hotels for me... the staff were wonderful, the setting was magic, i had a room upgrade which was wonderful and the room was spectacular. I had amazing room service breakfast and the beds were heaven. Could not recommend more. I loved the history too.

At Chateau Lake Louise in Alberta, Canada, the many delights of this mini-vacation began with the views of beautiful Lake Louise from our luxurious room on the Gold Floor. Our days were filled with cross-country skiing, invigorating hikes in the snow, afternoon high tea, evening happy hours, and a fantastic birthday dinner at Poppie's Restaurant in the Chateau! All this was made even more enjoyable by the ever friendly and helpful hotel staff. What was the highlight of this trip? How can we choose - we loved it all!
