A beautiful facility with a nostalgic flavor to it, the staff were excellent especially the concierge. Would definitely return.

Great location, very clean. Room was quaint but a little stuffy as the thermostat for air con wasn’t working. Lovely pool and hot tub. The Outpost pub was great atmosphere and lovely food. Breakfast in hotel was vastly expensive for what you got. Don’t use unless you have to !

What a fabulous stay. Very clean, amazing and friendly staff. The hotel is quite rustic, but rooms are nice. We used the pool, and jacuzzi, and it was nice to have a robe and slippers provided. We ate in the pub, great food. However, the food in the restaurant was exceptional, made even better by Cameron's attentive service! They put on free tea and coffee first thing in a morning, and afternoon, then delivered water and a cookie to your room in the evening. We sat in-front of the log fire, having a cocktail listening to a pianist before dinner. Highly recommend.

This hotel is perfection. They genuinely aim to please and make their guests happy. The location is on a medium-sized river, fast-moving with lots of rocks and chairs available to just sit and watch the river go by. It's spotless. Afternoon tea is offered free of charge next to a roaring fire. The staff is friendly and accommodating. I have not stayed in a better hotel since living in Europe. This hotel just shines. The breakfast was sensational and the formal dinners top of the line. The pub food was good, too, but the dining room was the best. Treat yourself. The Post has so much more charm than the huge Fairmont, where everyone says you "have" to stay. The Post is charming and intimate.
