Reviews for Post Hotel & Spa Lake Louise

Beautiful hotel in European ski lodge style.

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 weeks ago

Beautiful hotel built in European ski lodge style, with outstanding cuisine, many creature comforts and great attention to detail. It is less than a 10-minutes drive to the Lake Louise Ski resort, one of the finest in the Rockies, and the hotel offers a shuttle service. Evening dining in the beautiful restaurant is very refined, with a stunning wine cellar to choose from, although we preferred the more informal atmosphere and simpler dishes at the Outpost Pub, which occupies a corner of the same building. We especially enjoyed the pool and the hot tub after a day on the slopes. The hotel is next to the main railway line, with incredibly long freight trains passing by, but this proved to be an interesting curiosity rather than a nuisance - definitely part of the geography of this region. The hotel offers you the option of choosing rooms on the "quieter" side if you think the noise might bother you.

Gem in the Canadian Rockies

What can I say about this gem of a hotel in beautiful Lake Louise? The food and the welcoming staff of this hotel make it one of my favourite places on the planet, and I have been fortunate to travel far and wide. Please stay the way you are… thank you for delighting your guests!

Epic Lake Louise accommodation

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 weeks ago

This was the best ski accommodations I’ve ever stayed at, the whole setup is made for skiers and snowboarders. And the food in the dining room alone was worth the trip. The steam room, hot tub, pool area is very nice. They have lift passes at the front desk, the shuttle bus to the mountain brings you to the front door, and when you return from a day on the mountain they have tea time at the hotel. It’s all very well done 👍

A unique & tranquil hotel in the most beautiful setting

From the moment you walk into this hotel you feel welcome. The staff, the shuttle service, the food/drink & endless areas to sit and decompress are perfect. They even provide hot towels on arrival each afternoon to warm up after a busy day on the mountain and a homemade cookie in your room each evening with the following days weather report. The staff are warm, welcoming, friendly & no task is too big. The shuttle service to and from the mountain made the skiing experience a lot more seemless & they were always on hand to provide a private shuttle if you miss the main bus. The various areas to sit and decompress all had comfortable chairs & a delicious food & drink menu. We absolutely LOVED our stay at The Post and I'd whole heartedly recommend you to stay. Can't wait to visit again.

Another wonderful stay at the Post Hotel

One of my favourite hotels in the world. The service is impeccable, food superb & location unsurpassed. The rooms/cabins are beautifully appointed & very comfortable & the spa is excellent - I had one of the best massages that I've ever had.
