Great location and hotel. They shuttled us to the lake and back at our request. Bar lounge and the Outpost were both great with friendly helpful staff

Loved this hotel, relaxed and efficient. Understated and elegant. Perfect size. Had a great room lots of space, little terrace, lovely views. Spa great. The ‘pub’ friendly and cozy. Only sad I was there only one night. Highly recommended

I want to be as clear and fair as possible. The hotel was charming and we would have been happy with our stay when I came to the room and restaurant quality. This is a very busy time of year for myself. I booked a weekend away to relax and reset. We came with three couples all looking forward to a quiet weekend in the mountains. I was looking forward to the pool and hot tub as one of the hotels only amenities. My stay was ruined by this area being used as a playground for unsupervised children. Rather than being able to relax as intended, I was having to dodge water and orange juice. I was needing to talk with my friends in between screaming. There were roughly 15-20 kids who’s parent drank wine in the hot tub while two Nannie’s looked after the kids, which entailed allowed them to do anything the wanted. Our enjoyment was very much put secondary to other guests stay while they took their children to the mountains. The staff should be trained to not only monitor what’s happening around the hotel but also intervene when necessary to protect the guests experience. Our stay was definitely a mixed bag of emotions but I wouldn’t call it relaxing. Our room which was very charming was unfortunatly directly beside these families which meant we were treated to loud musics, crying and screaming as the hotel is older and sound transfers. Luckily we found a fan in the room to drown out the noise during the evening and early morning. The front desk didn’t seem surprised about the kids during checkout and the staff actually complete my sentence as if it was a known issue….yet still no attempt to salvage what was supposed to be a relaxing weekend in the mountains.

Five stars on every front. Had a few drinks in the lounge with the fireplace kept going the whole time. Adam our server at dinner was amazing.

Our stay was absolutely wonderful. Traveling with two toddlers can be difficult, but the environment, the pool, and the Outpost Pub were incredibly accommodating to our family's needs. We were so impressed by the attention to detail—having water, snacks, coffee, tea, and food consistently available made our stay much easier. The pool was a highlight; our kids felt safe and had a total blast. Thank you for making our family getaway so seamless!
