This 140 acre resort including the hotel has been a legend since 1873, due to it fine pioneering heritage (Switzerland's first electric railway, Europe's highest outdoor Elevator) and first and foremost, the link to glamour and celebrity: It was here that, Audrey Hepburn was married, Charlie Chaplin regularly stayed, Sophia Loren and Carlo Ponti made their home and many more celebrities, politicians, etc. returned year on year.

Breathtaking Views and Perfect Cocktails
We had an amazing time at Bürgenstock Resort enjoying lunch and cocktails with breathtaking views of Lake Lucerne. The Negronis are absolutely to die for and the service was excellent. The atmosphere was wonderful, enhanced by live piano music, making it a truly memorable experience. Highly recommended! 👌👌👌

What about surrounding with mountains and lake and spending the most relaxing time in infinity pool when can have best food in three Michelin stars restaurant ? Everything is best at it’s possible.a different league compare to other resorts in Switzerland .staff was super professional , literate and warm .shop in the hotel including, sauna and restaurant for breakfast pumped life in your veins .astonishing

We’ve just spent 3 nights at Burgenstock & we’ve never experienced a hotel, service, or location like it. Totally immaculate, enjoyable & flawless in every single way, literally perfection. We’d like to specifically callout Lubomira, Edlira & Josephin at Spices who were so lovely & truly made us feel so special - they & all the staff are total assets to Burgenstock.

Waldhotel Bürgenstock exceeded every expectation. From the moment I arrived, everything felt thoughtful, refined, and genuinely relaxing. The hotel facilities are immaculate, blending modern design with the peaceful atmosphere of the mountain surroundings. The spa is truly exceptional, especially the sauna, which is perfectly maintained and exactly how a real sauna should be. It became my favorite place to unwind. The restaurant is another highlight. Every dish was beautifully prepared, and the service was warm and attentive without ever feeling intrusive. Overall, my stay was flawless. Waldhotel delivers comfort, quality, and a sense of calm that’s rare to find. I would return in a heartbeat.

Breathtaking Favorite Resort
Breathtaking Resort with Cantilevered pool off edge of mountain featuring magnificent views of Lake Lucerne. Cannot put into words the awesome experience at this place. My favorite spot in all of Europe. Can't wait to return!
