This resort was out of this world stunning. The staff were incredible to talk to and get any help from. I just have to rave about Uncle Brunno, he made my vacation just THAT much better. His soul is so sweet and I hope I get to see him again. Uncle takes care of the birds so if you find them, you’ll most likely find him. Thank you FSLanai, you were great ❤️

Truly one of the best Four Seasons Resorts I’ve stayed at. The grounds are absolutely stunning and the stuff was incredible. You really get what you pay for when you stay at the Four Seasons, Lana’i. Will definitely be back.

This is the Four Seasons brand at its best! We arrived on Air Lanai (all arranged by Four Seasons) from Maui. The island itself is beautiful and majestic especially as you drive through to old volcanic crater now lined with pines and deer. The hotel and rooms is beautiful. We had a partial ocean view that had a private lanai to a garden and view of the Puʻu Pehe. There is an adult pool and family pool. The family pool tends to fill up. Cabanas are available but the chairs in the lawn overlooking Hulopoʻe Beach are the best. Malibu farms and Nobu are delicious. Take advantage all the cultural events. They have a observatory for star gazing and snorkeling on the beach. Overall I would highly recommend this property and one if not the best from the Four Season brand

The good - staff, food and facilities. Every staff member was great - engaging and greeting us with a smile and aloha. The food at the restaurants was very good - albeit from the bar for dinner, but more on that in a minute. Breakfast was one of the best buffets I’ve had - and a relative bargain. And Malibu Farms was great. The physical facilities were great - maintained and worked well. The room was as expected for this price point. All the connections ran like clockwork - plane transfers, etc. What could be improved…access to the restaurants for dinner. Unless you want to rent a vehicle and drive into Lanai City, you are stuck on property. As such we should be able to eat in the restaurants. But it was not possible to do that at a reasonable hour - not because they didn’t have tables - they were not physically full. There were open tables and/or spaces. This is clearly a management issue. Real answer - which we heard from the staff - is to hire more people to enable fully utilizing the facilities. This would fix the issue. In lieu of that inform the guests well in advance and work with them to ensure their dining needs are met. Not just the usual “if there is anything you need” line but actual pre-arrival engagement to ensure the guest understands the situation. Or open the reservation system to only guests and hold out non guests. Either of these would improve guest access to the restaurants. So would I recommend the place - yeah it’s a magical island. But it is suppose to be complete relaxation. I should not have to stress over dinner.

We have stayed at luxury resorts across multiple continents, and the Four Seasons Lana’i stands apart. The resort succeeds where many fail: it enhances its surroundings rather than overwhelming them. The natural landscape of Lana’i — rugged terrain, mature pines, and sweeping ocean views — has been thoughtfully preserved throughout the property, and the design consistently reflects and honors it. The interiors are distinguished by the use of native Hawaiian Koa wood in floors, beams, and trim, lending warmth and a sense of place that no imported material could replicate. Furnishings in creamy leather and rich, nubbly fabrics reinforce an aesthetic of refined, understated elegance. The overall effect is quietly luxurious without being ostentatious. We also want to specifically recognize Evan, the front desk manager, for exceptional handling of a disruption to the private air transfer service included in our room rate. When our family members were stranded at Honolulu Airport after the carrier failed to retrieve them, Evan intervened on our family’s behalf — making repeated calls to the airline and pressing to hold the departing flight. He then arranged a special form of private transportation to bring them directly to the resort. He provided welcome gifts to ease what had been a stressful start to their stay, and he continued to monitor our experience throughout the remainder of our visit to ensure everything met expectations. His response was prompt, effective, and genuinely gracious. The Four Seasons Lana’i earns its reputation on both counts: a property of real architectural and natural distinction, and a staff that delivers when it matters most. We will return.

Phenomenal and unique in its own way. The staff was first-rate, whether setting up tee times at the world-class golf courses or providing information about the many tours available. The most memorable experience of the trip was swimming in Manele bay and suddenly finding ourselves surrounded by 60-80 spinner dolphins. That is an experience that will last a lifetime.
