reception- unfriendly, very rude sound lady. Restaurant can't provide dinner at one night, and no information provided before arrival, we have to go out searching for pizza??!! Spa I fine... Would I come back again? Surely no!

Been coming to the loisium 20years and every year it gets worse ..Turn over over of staff ,, someone new every year we come. Internet breakdown, communication breakdown ,, had to confirm a restaurant reservation twice because nobody had confirmed the reservation in the system.. No food available at the outside restaurant because of a seminar,,, chef could not cope with the amount of guests..

Went to the wine farm almost by mistake, and it was sensational. The walking tour was interesting, but walking in the underground tunnels which were used 1000 years ago was unbelievable. The sales area afterwards was dog, ands staff excellent. An excellent afternoon.

We had a disappointing stay at the Loisium Hotel Kamptal. There was no AC and we couldn't even open the window enough to cool the room. The hotel was aware of the issue but was unable to find a solution over the weekend. It would have been better if they had informed us about the problem during check-in. Our room for 2 had only one chair and there were no tea and coffee facilities, which are usually standard in a 4* hotel. (Just saying, we did not really need hot drinks). The only positive thing was the friendly waiter at breakfast, Georg. We were sadly not the only ones affected, as our friends and family members also had the same experience, meaning we had a horrible night, in steaming hot rooms …

4-star hotel? Not when compared to the past stays I've enjoyed there! 1) Sunday breakfast was hopelessly overcrowded; 2) Our room had two overlooked - and potentially dangerous - elements: an uncovered electrical outlet and a small, loose, halogen light bulb for the bedside reading lamp on side edge of the bedside table (it could've fallen on the floor and stepped on with bare feet); 3) The air circulation unit sounded like a pump or valve was broken. The intermittent noise woke me at during the nights until I opened the window to shut it off. The reception brushed off the noise as "that's the air circulation unit", implying that it was normal. I received no response to an email from the hotel concerning these problems.
