Our hotel is located on the enthralling Langkawi island or sometimes known as Legendary island as it is enshrouded with legends and myths. It is an archipelago of 104 islands overlooking the panoramic Andaman Sea and Straits of Malacca. This island derived its name from the abundance of eagles on the island.

nice hotel except room air con too weak and bathtub leaking
the hotel is nice with beautiful colonial style, nice service from check in to check out. However, the room air con was too weak during daytime , especially if the curtain is opened, the bathtub was leaking so we couldn't relax in the bathtub unless we open the water tab once in a while

A wonderful expedience!!!
We had a recent wonderful stay at the Danna. This hotel is truly luxurious with outstanding staff, beautiful surroundings and you are made to feel truly special in every way. The food is delicious and the level of cleanliness is exceptional. Every member of staff is professional and thoughtful and nothing is too much trouble. We can’t wait to return.

Homey Comfort with Heartfelt Hospitality
From the moment I arrived at the resort to my dining and spa experiences, the team has delivered exceptionally dedicated service. Comfortable bed, well-prepared amenities, and I loved the toilet paper folded like a flower — very creative ! I I loved the welcome praline — the pearl design was crafted so beautifully, with a shell that looked incredibly real ! I felt truly welcomed and grateful to stay here.

A perfect getaway!
A perfect getaway! The atmosphere was a 10/10, the Victorian style building genuinely made us feel transported and completely disconnected in the best way. Service at the pool and beach was good, and the rooms and bathrooms were huge and comfortable. We loved the balcony. Staff were incredibly friendly and service was fast. Breakfast was amazing with both a buffet and à la carte options, all included. Same for the drinks. Truly a wonderful stay.

FANTASTIC!
Once again we returned for our yearly trip to The Danna. As always their welcome was exceptional! Meeting old friends (staff) and making new ones. It is so lovely to return each year and to see the same smiling faces.😀😀😀 To the welcoming drink and massage when we arrived, so special. Room decoration for a birthday and cake and candles at dinner to celebrate, they go the extra mile mile. We cant wait to return in 2026 to see our Langkawi friends. I would recommend The Danna as a great place to relax and wind down. Suzanne
