Beautiful hotel

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 12 hours ago

Beautiful hotel with great staff and every comfort that you need for a pleasant stay. Occasional lapses in service at busy breakfast times but otherwise flawless. Somewhat isolated in terms of outside options for dining etc but we did have a car and understand the Grab taxis are easy to utilise. There is an independent beach shack to the right of the hotel as you go to the beach. It was open 12-12 and although the menu was very small, the food was amazing and very reasonably priced. Not licensed but you can take your own beer. Visited Cenang one evening for food but we were very happy to get back to the calm oasis of the Danna.

There is a really nice ambience, team, great hospitality without being stuffy or insincere. It is not cheap though....

Great hospitality & authentic Indian food

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 13 hours ago

We had such a wonderful experience during our check-in at The Danna Langkawi. From the moment we arrived, Aznie and Husna made us feel incredibly welcomed with their warm smiles, attentiveness, and genuine hospitality. It truly set the tone for a relaxing and memorable stay. A special compliment as well to Chef Pravin for the exceptional Indian cuisine. The food was absolutely outstanding rich in flavor, beautifully prepared, and truly authentic. It genuinely felt like enjoying a meal in India, which is not easy to find. Thank you to the entire team for making our experience so enjoyable. We truly appreciate the effort and care that went into every detail.

Paradise found at The Danna

We had an absolutely amazing experience at The Danna Hotel. From the moment we arrived, everything was flawless – the service, the atmosphere, and the attention to detail made us feel truly special. My boyfriend and I felt pampered every single moment. The room was beautiful, very spacious and elegant, with a breathtaking view. The staff was incredibly kind and professional, always attentive to our needs and welcoming us with a smile. The pool and relaxation area are absolutely stunning, and the peaceful vibe makes you completely forget about everyday stress. The breakfast was delicious, with a wide variety of high-quality options. This is the kind of place you fall in love with and can’t wait to return to. For us, it was more than just a vacation – it was a truly memorable experience. We will definitely be back 💙 Daniela & Ionut

Best Holiday Ever...and that is really saying something !

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 4 days ago

I have been meaning to put a short review on about The Danna. To provide some context, we travel a lot and are also annual visitors to Malaysia. I can honestly say that we had the most incredible stay and I think we have now spoilt any future holiday because the bar has been set at what might be an unattainable height. We stayed in a Princess Pool Villa for 12 nights and the first thing to say is that the pool is huge and was cleaned everyday and 4 fresh bath towels were provided each day also. We have visited hotels where the main pool is smaller. It's not a glorified bathtub like you often see in the Maldives. The villa was immaculate and was cleaned twice daily. Breakfast is served to you in the villa if you choose - so we did everyday. The choices are extensive and unless you are a glutton, it's too much, but it is all beautifully presented. Each day we were in regular WhatsApp contact with our concierge who would check what we wanted and what time. Afternoon tea was served every day at about 3pm which was different everyday, usually a savoury or a sweet local snack with drinks. Again, tasty and beautifully presented. We also had dinner in our villa on probably half of the nights. Trust me, you would really not want to leave it and why would you when anything you want was brought to you. ....and the service...well, it was simply faultless. Friendly, engaging, professional and all of the staff were happy to stop and chat. The restaurants were good but were second best to just chilling in the villa and having room service. This was always going to be a fly and flop holiday but there was no way we could have predicted just how much The Danna buys into that concept. Other facilities were great. We were regulars at the gym in the morning (my wife more than me) well, we needed to counter all of the lounging and eating. The villas have a large garden as well with a gate that leads directly on to the hotel's private beach. It really is just about as idyllic as anything you could imagine. Finally, just to add that the prices are also very reasonable for what you get. There is no sense of being rinsed as can be the case in certain prime holiday resorts (Maldives, Paris, Rome for example). We would go back again in a heartbeat.
