The Danna Langkawi, Malaysia

A perfect stay at a wonderful resort with super lovely staff. The bed was unbelievably comfortable. The beach side was stunning. The food left no wishes open. The hotel staff is so nice.

We spent eight wonderful nights at this hotel/Resort. We booked the pool Villa and it was amazing. Full Lounge Room, massive bedroom, beautiful bathroom and our private pool with its own gazebo and sunbeds. The Villa sits on a large parcel of gardens facing the ocean. It was bliss. All the staff are amazing, always smiling and friendly and nothing is too difficult for them. They are all tentative to everything we asked for and more. Highly recommend staying here for R&R. The sky cab is close by and also worth a visit. We did the mangrove tour and truly had a wonderful experience. Thank you to everybody at the Danna Langkawi 😊

Nice hotel, clean rooms but unfortunately we had a bit of an issue on the occupancy room. Watch out if you are booking a room for 2 adults and 2 kids as the room only has a king and a single bed… on querying this with management they advised for 2 adults and a child to sleep on the king bed, or alternatively suggested we upgrade for an additional charge. We eventually moved a couple of times and ended up okay, but a lot of hassle and drama on checking in. An experience once would have liked to avoid.

We had an amazing 3 nights after touring Borneo and Malaysia. The staff pull not do enough from us, from driver and housekeeper to bar and restaurant and reception. We enjoyed fabulous food, freshly cooked and beautifully presented. They have a wonderful bar with attentive service and lovely staff. The live music in the bar was discreet and Well rehearsed. The pool is a highlight and attention from the staff at poolside was amazing. The beach was groomed meticulously each morning and all grounds and spaces were immaculate. I would definitely recommend and revisit. The rooms were large with everything one Could ask for, including a pillow menu. Absolute comfort.

We had a great experience at Danna despite the moody weather. The facilities are excellent, well maintained and everything is provided for a smooth and comfortable stay. The personnel is top notch, listening, caring, and always available. We had 1 dinner at the hotel but preferred to take a Grab and go to Pentai Cenang for the other dinners, for more local (and affordable) options. The resort is quite isolated from the "center" but this is no issue at all with Grab bringing you everywhere super quick. It's well located to go on an adventure towards the Oriental village (to the cable car and skybridge), or to the mangrove, or to Pentai Cenang. Our only regret is about the weather but this is something the hotel can't control - and the friendliness of the staff as well as the hotel services highly compensated for that!!
