The Danna Langkawi, Malaysia

Absolutely stunning hotel and without question the best we’ve ever stayed in. The Danna is flawless from start to finish — exceptional service where nothing is too much trouble, a truly beautiful setting, and an atmosphere of relaxed luxury that makes it feel incredibly special. The food is outstanding across the hotel, with every meal feeling like a treat. From the moment we arrived we felt completely looked after, and it’s the kind of place that stays with you long after you leave. An unforgettable stay and one we can’t wait to repeat.

We stayed at the Danna for 4 nights in December in a sea view room and thoroughly enjoyed every moment. From the incredible warm welcome, super friendly, attentive and efficient service to the fantastic room, great food, amazing pool and superb beach location… everything was just Wow, Wow, Wow! The hotel is beautifully decorated, the food variety & quality was great and the poolside and beach were amazing to relax and lounge around that we didn’t feel the need to leave the hotel much. We loved that the hotel was not very big and therefore the service felt more intimate and attentive. This resort definitely deserves its rating as the top hotel in langkawi. We were sad to leave and would definitely book at the Danna again in future.

The Merchant rooms at the Danna are large and well appointed with multiple seating arrangements and ample room for luggage. Bathroom was spacious and large shower. The King bed was large and comfortable and got a good nights sleep. On arrival, the whole family was given neck & shoulder massages in the reception area by the Spa staff. Restaurants were great as was the stunning pool. Did not need to leave the Resort for anything. The included breakfasts at 'Planters' were sensational - the buffet lacked nothing and the eggs-any-way at the Egg Station was a pleasant change, as well as a few a-la-carte selections and great coffee. The Spa area on Level 5 was lovely and staff so friendly - always smiling pleasant and accommodating. A special shout-out to wait-staff Wahida and Amelya, Chef Asnan, piano player Emzac and the Spa staff - the massages were heavenly - our 8yr old grandson fell asleep during the 30min kids session! The rooms are spacious, comfortable and the layout is excellent. The bathrooms are huge with plenty of room to move, or had two sinks and standing shower and a bathtub which is rare to see in a Resort in the USA. amenities were sufficient and fresh tooth brushes and toothpaste definitely helps a lot. seeing the natural view from the bathtub window was appealing and add to the experience. We took the Planter's restaurant breakfast during our stay and it had a lots of choices with fresh juices, tea, shakes and more. Som Jot the Assistant Outlet Manager was a pleasure to know as he know the food in and out and was very hospitable. I would highly recommend families to stay here and enjoy the breathtaking Natural views and the private beach ,

In particular, Shaza at front desk, Mariko the guest manager and Khairul at the restaurant, made our visit memorable, def. visiting them again!!
