We had a few hiccups in our first night - by gosh they took our feedback seriously - They managed to turn this around to be an amazing trip for our family. Be aware when booking that room size includes a very very large balcony - the full room size that will accomodate your children’s fold outs may not be equivalent to what you expect. The suite was amazing - thanks to the staff - all restaurants were 5 star ( but may but all he opened every night in off peak times) so need to plan dining accordingly.

Our stay at The Danna Langkawi was simply exceptional. His kindness and professionalism set the tone for the rest of our stay. We would also like to recognize Pieeh, the concierge, who perfectly arranged our unforgettable nine holes at The Els Club. Everything was seamless, allowing us to simply relax and enjoy the experience. It was also a pleasure speaking with the General Manager, Remco. You can truly feel his positive leadership and guest-first philosophy throughout the entire hotel. The atmosphere, the attention to detail, and the genuine care shown by every member of the team are a testament to his approach. The Danna exceeded every expectation we had. The beautiful property, outstanding service, exceptional food, and warm hospitality made this one of the best hotel experiences we’ve ever had as a family. Thank you to the entire team for making our stay so memorable. We cannot recommend The Danna Langkawi highly enough and are already looking forward to returning.

We had the most incredible stay at The Danna Hotel in Langkawi. Travelling as a family with our two teenage children, it exceeded every expectation from start to finish. We were lucky enough to be upgraded to a Princess Beach Villa, which was beautifully spacious and immaculately clean. One of our favourite things was stepping straight out of the villa barefoot and walking onto the beach or over to the main pool — it felt so relaxed and luxurious at the same time. The food throughout our stay was exceptional. We ate in both restaurants multiple times and every meal was delicious. The service from every single member of staff was outstanding — warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. We loved how the beach felt almost private, and the location is perfect — just a short distance from the airport and the SkyCab. It was great being able to wait for the clouds to clear over the mountains so we could enjoy the cable car views at their best. The games room was a lovely touch, and the live music at breakfast and in the evenings really added to the atmosphere. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend The Danna to friends and family — it’s a truly special place and we can’t wait to return.
