In this Spa I have had two treatments. First time Goua sha body massage and second one was the indulgence hammam. For gouasha they have warned about bruising but I didn’t have any. Very nice massage. Intense, but not painfully so. The second treatment was not as nice. I went to spa straight from the beach and didn’t realise I was sunburnt. The therapist hasn’t mentioned anything, as usually at the spas to offer milder or combination treatment, but scrubbed all the burnt areas same as non burnt… this might be a nice treatment for not damaged skin, although the next day my skin all over was really really dehydrated.

A truly remarkable team living up to the motto: ladies and gentlemen serve ladies and gentlemen. The staff goes above and beyond to make your stay special. There are daily surprises waiting for you! Just to name some: - tent full of toys built up in our room for our daughter - free drinks and deserts at dinner - prepared bubble baths after breakfast with rose petals .... The list goes on and on. The team feels genuine and caring. Some superstars to mention: - Shuk (Buttler) - Sara (Buttler) - Zuriadah (best Babysitter!) - Ramy (Management) Actually every single staff member is outstanding. The facilities are not brand new, but very well maintained. We stayed in a water front villa wich was impeccable. All restaurants serve great food accompanied by amazing staff. One very special thing to mention: This must be one of the most kids friendly hotels there is. From new borns to toddler to teenagers. The hotel and staff offer individual food and activities - all free of charge. Truly remarkable If you are looking for a place where you can just shut off and relax and forget about the world around you - come to the Ritz Carlton in Langkawi!

Great service by all the staff made this a fantastic stay. Breakfast was good and the beach grill afforded a beautiful view at sunset (tho there's a non-zero risk of fighting some monkeys!)
