The Ritz-Carlton, Langkawi

We are in the middle of a 6 night stay and have loved every minute so far. We have been fortunate enough to stay in some great places and we would rate this as one of the best. Our room is set in the rainforest with a view of the sea and it feels like we are in a tree house. There is lots of wildlife with monkeys, squirrels, eagles and hornbills around every day. The resort is hidden away across a large area but there are buggies to give you a ride if required. All the buildings and villas are discreetly set amongst the rainforest. Food has been amazing and service excellent. I honestly can't fault anything and would highly recommend.

Absolutely fabulous stay here at the Ritz-Carlton Langkawi. Syed and his team looked after us from beginning to end. Every member of staff welcomed us with a warming smile and took care of our every need. Amazing service from morning to night. I cannot rate this place highly enough. Our villa was superb, spacious and clean. Our view was stunning with a sunset to die for and the amenities, including the spa were outstandingly luxurious. Top this all off with delicious food and beverages…what more can one ask for on holiday. Thank you all for making our dream vacation even better than we expected. Best wishes Alex & Caroline

This hotel was truly incredible, and we say every day how glad we are that we chose to spend our honeymoon here. The staff’s attention to detail and how genuinely kind and welcoming everyone was made the experience even more special. We were treated to so many thoughtful surprises throughout our stay, and they really made us feel celebrated and valued as guests. The food at every single restaurant was outstanding. We chose the half-board option, which allowed us to dine at all of the restaurants. Each meal included a starter, main, and dessert, and you could choose freely from the full menu. Our favourite was Langkawi Kitchen, and the breakfast there was the best we’ve ever had—an incredible selection, with both a buffet and à la carte options. The resort’s beach was beautiful, and we spent a lot of time at the adults-only Horizon Pool because it was cooler and very relaxing. They even came around with complimentary non-alcoholic shots and fresh fruit during the day, which was such a lovely touch. We also enjoyed the spa facilities.

The Ritz-Carlton Langkawi is truly a place you never want to leave. The hotel is located in a beautiful rainforest setting, and the beach is absolutely stunning. The restaurants offer delicious food, and the coffee at breakfast was excellent. For families with children, the hotel is fantastic. The kids’ club offers great activities, and the staff is incredibly kind and attentive. Honestly, I cannot say anything negative about this hotel. My only advice is: just go and experience it yourself 🤗

Stayed at ritz Carlton for 5 nights in one of the rain forest suites which are real luxury All the staff at this resort are incredible so welcoming and kind they go out of their way to accommodate you with anything you need. The resort is a little far out from local bars & restaurants so you do need a taxi if you want to explore. We did a bed & breakfast package & found the food prices & drinks prices extremely expensive compared to other places in Malaysia I guess being a 5 star hotel you’d expect them to be slightly higher than local places. Shame there wasn’t a happy hour for cocktails on the beach during the evening. We used the grab app to get out and found some fabulous restaurants.
