The Ritz-Carlton, Langkawi

Ambience, staff and food were top-notch! I had the best hotel stay so far! Kudos to Sumira on check-in, Jenny of Horizon, Jia and Qistina of Langkawi Kitchen, Faustine of Beach Grill, Chefs Travis & Wong of Hai Yan, Miss Fan and Nicholas of Hai Yan, and all the buggy drivers I had the pleasure of meeting 👍🏻

We absolutely adored the Ritz Carlton Langkawi! From the moment we arrived, we felt welcome and at home. We were immediately greeted by Aidil who was to be our butler for our 8 night stay and I can't thank or praise him enough. His kindness and incredible work ethic elevated our stay to the point that we didn't want to leave. I could go on all day about Aidil, but he is a true credit to Ritz Carlton and we so look forward to seeing him next year. The villa was lovely with a wonderful pool overlooking the sea and even from there, we saw so much wildlife… Eagles, sea otters, monitor lizards and of course monkeys (thankfully they arrived and left within 5 mins every few days so didn’t cause any chaos). The Grounds were spectacular, but the beach felt really special. It’s the most beautiful cove with soft sand and clear water, we made sure we swam there each day. We had great breakfasts and meals in all the restaurants. Our favourite was Horizon, where the food, drinks and sunsets were off the chart. I used the gym most days, which was great and very well equipped. As you can tell, we loved the place and the people and would recommend it to anyone going to Langkawi.

After spending hours looking through YouTube videos of places to stay in Malaysia, I finally chose the Ritz Carlton Langkawi after finally being convinced by a 10/10 review from FlipFlop Traveller. My wife wanted a rainforest/Robinson Crusoe experience, I wanted a luxury villa, a beach and great dining. The Ritz Carlton delivered on everything. There were too many great points to write here, it's probably easier to say that I've visited many top hotels around the world, and I couldn't find anything to fault. One of the best hotels I've visited in my life, and I have to give a mention to Faz and the in house butler team that made the entire stay so stress free. We will definitely be back.

Our stay at The Ritz-Carlton, Langkawi was truly exceptional and memorable. From the moment we arrived until our departure, every detail was thoughtfully taken care of, allowing us to fully relax and enjoy our time surrounded by the beautiful rainforest and sea. What made this stay particularly special was the genuine warmth and kindness of the team. We would like to express our heartfelt appreciation to Syasya, Anas,Awye, Alyssa, and all the wonderful Ladies & Gentlemen who looked after us. Our son, Eiji, is usually quite shy at first, but thanks to their gentle and welcoming approach, he quickly felt comfortable and opened up. Seeing him so happy and at ease meant a lot to us as parents. We were also touched by the thoughtful gestures and personal touches throughout our stay, including the warm messages and care from the Ritz Kids team. These moments made our experience not only luxurious, but truly meaningful. Every interaction felt sincere, never forced, which is something we deeply value. This was not just a beautiful resort stay, but a place where we felt genuinely cared for. We will truly miss Langkawi and hope to return again in the future. Thank you once again for such a wonderful experience.

Location is amazing, not far from airport, and close to all landmarks of island. We got a villa 2 which is with ocean view, it was amazing! Cleanliness, service 5 out of 5. Special thanks to our butler Anas! This young and dedicated to his work man made our staying there special and valuable, starting from welcome day till end of our journey 24/7. This man really amazed me and my family.
