Breakfast offered a wide selection — from fresh tropical fruits and pastries to local Malaysian delicacies and international favorites. Each dish was prepared with care and high-quality ingredients. The seafood was particularly outstanding, fresh and flavorful, while the sunset dining experiences added a magical touch to the evenings. From the moment we arrived at The Ritz Carlton Langkawi to celebrate our anniversary - every single aspect has been faultless, beginning with a beautiful welcome platter making the check in effortless and relaxed. The resorts decor pays tribute to the natural surroundings and our room was stunning and made extra special with anniversary decoration and the best animal “towel art” I’ve seen (& I’ve stayed in a lot of hotels!!) see photo of the birds :) Every staff members we encountered is excellent at their jobs and clearly work extremely hard. Miraj continued to make our room spotless daily and provided us with a thoughtful treat every evening during turndown. Qutina, Tia and the team working during breakfast were so attentive and efficient at service. The food and drink was phenomenal, particularly breakfast! The team who work on the beach and pool areas keep you hydrated and provide continue ice cool fruit and refreshing shots throughout the day! This resort is outstanding and cannot fault a thing! The team are a credit to making this resort nothing short of EXCELLENT!! In terms of the location it was easy for us to reach from the Harbour having come from Koh Lipe and close to airport when flying to Kuala Lumpur ahead of flying back to London. Recommend to visit Mangroves, Cable Cart and for golfers the one beautiful Golf course Langkawi has to offer.

We recently had a great relaxing stay at the Ritz Langkawi as a family of nine. The grounds are truly beautiful and being surrounded by a jungle island setting made the experience even more special, especially watching the monkeys, butterflies, and birds around the resort. One of the highlights for us was definitely the beach villa. It was very well equipped and offered easy direct access to a beautiful beach, which we thoroughly enjoyed throughout our stay. Another standout was the food. As a family of food lovers, we were impressed by how much it exceeded our expectations. Everything we tried was consistently delicious! A special mention goes to Syasya, who was incredible throughout our stay. She was always responsive and went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and had a memorable experience. In general, the staff at the resort were warm, friendly, and very helpful. The kids especially loved the kids club, the family pool, and spotting monkeys around the property. There were a couple of areas that could be improved. The spa experience was underwhelming and in need of renovation. My therapist was not particularly warm, and the towels and bathrobes had a strong chemical smell. The relaxation area was quite small, with only two lounge beds, which meant my pregnant sister and I had to share while waiting for our session. I had even booked a second massage but decided to cancel as the overall experience was not enjoyable. Breakfast at Langkawi Kitchen was another slight disappointment. While the food was excellent, the service felt lacking and we often felt unattended. We only discovered the à la carte menu on our last day, which would have enhanced our earlier visits. That said, Shahril stood out as one of the few team members who truly went above and beyond for us during breakfast. On a positive note, the airport pick up and drop off service was seamless. The staff involved were extremely helpful and welcoming, which made both our arrival and departure smooth and enjoyable. Overall, despite a few areas for improvement, we had a memorable and enjoyable stay in beautiful setting with excellent food and warm hospitality.

Overall it was a great trip. The location is about 30min from the main area, but that made it private. We stayed in the larger over-water villa for 5 nights. Its largely private from neighbors. And the villa itself was very nice. One of the best ive stayed in. Bed was extremely comfy. Pool was good size and 2 outdoor seating areas for sun and shade. Shower was hot with good pressure. All toilets were equipmeted with modern bidet. Service is always great at Ritz and this was no exception. All the upper management introduced themselves at arrival paying personal attention. The van for airport transfers was very comfortable and upscale. All the staff was helpful, especially our lead butler Anas who even helped us with requests after his shift was over. Requests were easy and quick via WhatsApp. If I have any criticisms at all, its perhaps the food. Some things were great. I really liked the hornbill drink and its presentation. The rendang itim was good. Yellow curry was good. But other things, especially the more expensive ones, were not great in my opinion. For a Ritz of this caliber, I look for something 'special' and unique. Such as that hornbill drink. There's a few nice things like that drink and the many snacks upon arrival were great too. But overall the food was largely average. And it was very odd they dont just bring your eggs to your table from the omelet station. Even basic hotels often do that. Comparable Ritz ive stayed at in the past have pre-prepared eggs Benedict with avocado for example. Or other offerings with luxury toppings like caviar and truffle already on the buffet items to take as much as you like. Everything else at this hotel still felt special and personalized, so I will give it 5 stars. But my recommendation to them overall is reassess food and beverage overall to have a truly flawless Ritz experience.

The entire staff team was incredibly kind,warm and always smiling,truly attentive to our needs and requests.Available at any time of the day or night and feel genuinely valued as a guest. A special thanks to Mr Shah Aiman-Butler Supervisor who escorted us to our Grand Ocean Villa and couldn't have been more accommodating and helpful throughout our stay with the nice anniversary deco with the special flower bouquets which was a lovely touch.Exceptional service delivered from Butler and Buggy Service Team,and absolutely deserve recognition.Shout out to the Mr Syed,Mr Shukri,Mr Munajat,Mr Hamizi from the Beach Grill Bartender.Hai Yan Restaurant is the place to be paired with the delicious food,made even better by Ms Aiylee and the breakfast was superb-so much choice from the the buffet to ala carte menu.Shout out to Mr Paul F&B Manager and the team at the Langkawi Kitchen!Just watch out for those cheeky monkey who like to steal your yummy food.Pool attendant at The Beach Grill were amazing as well.To conclude,The Ritz Carlton Langkawi truly special place that we will always remember and the benchmark for what a luxurious island getaway paired with the first class service should be.
