An unforgettable honeymoon at The Ritz-Carlton, Langkawi We spent five nights at The Ritz-Carlton, Langkawi in a Beach Villa for our honeymoon, and it was, without a doubt, the best resort and the best service we have ever experienced. From the moment we arrived, every detail felt incredibly thoughtful and personal. It was the little things that made our stay so special — the handwritten notes, beautiful surprise flowers and decorations in our room, and the little treats brought to us while we were relaxing on the beach. Nothing ever felt too much or overlooked. The attention to detail was exceptional. We also loved the setting. Having the monkeys roaming around the resort was such a fun and unexpected part of the experience, and we found ourselves getting excited whenever we spotted them! But the absolute highlight of our stay was our butler, Aidil. He was genuinely incredible. No request was ever too big or too small, and he always seemed to know what we needed before we even asked. His warmth, kindness and attention to detail made our honeymoon even more special. He truly went above and beyond, and by the end of our five nights, he felt like such an important part of our experience. We left feeling incredibly spoilt, relaxed and very sad to say goodbye. The Ritz-Carlton, Langkawi has set a very high bar for every resort we stay at in the future. Thank you to the entire team, and especially Aidil, for making our honeymoon so memorable. We absolutely cannot wait to come back. ❤️

We had a truly wonderful stay at The Ritz-Carlton, Langkawi with our family and two children. The resort itself is beautiful, surrounded by rainforest and the sea, and has a very peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. We originally stayed in an Ocean Front Villa and later moved to a Beach Access Villa, which was especially convenient for our children as they loved being able to go straight out to the beach. Both villas were beautiful and offered very different experiences. What impressed us the most, however, was the service. Everyone we met was warm, thoughtful and always willing to help. A special thank you to our butler, Aidil, who took such great care of our family. He was always friendly, attentive and responsive, and helped us with many arrangements throughout our stay. His thoughtful service really made us feel well taken care of and made our experience even more memorable. We also really appreciated the entire butler team and all the Ladies & Gentlemen at the resort. Even after we changed villa categories, the team continued to assist us whenever we needed anything, which we truly appreciated. Traveling with children can sometimes make a trip a little more complicated, but the team here made everything feel easy and comfortable. Our children had a great time, my wife loved the resort, and that probably says everything! 😊 Thank you again to Aidil and the entire Ritz-Carlton Langkawi team for making our family holiday so special. We left with many wonderful memories and would definitely love to come back again. Highly recommended for families, couples, or anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable stay in Langkawi.

From start to finish it was amazing. Staff could not be more attentive and the resort was incredible. We totally relaxed after travelling though Malaysia. Could not recommend more.

The staff, the property, the location, the rooms, the food - everything was fantastic! I am sad I only booked 3 nights, will definitely come back for longer next time. I want to give a special mention to a few individuals who took extraordinary care: Munajat from the butler team was so wonderful to show me around and make sure that I was happy with my accommodation, he also presented me with a parting gift and in our conversations he was simply being human, kind and caring - I truly appreciated that and he played a big part in making me feel comfortable from beginning to end. At the beach, I conversed with a few lovely staff, both at the coffee shop and the equipment booth - I'm sorry I don't remember everybody's name who helped me but I had a great conversation with Han and Naim - great guys and the property is so lucky to have them taking care of their guests during any weather conditions. I met Kai Ern from the Quality Department during breakfast at Langkawi kitchen (marvelous buffet and a la carte offerings), and she quickly excelled in forming a caring connection with me, sending me aloe to my room when she heard I'd be at the beach all day, checking up on me the next day and also presenting me with a lovely, personally designed souvenir with my name on it to remind me of the wonderful time at the Ritz-Carlton Langkawi. I learned she was about to end her internship soon and I know, wherever she will go next, they will be blessed to have her on their team. From the super diligent housekeeping team, who I am sure I didn't even see many of them, but Norizan and Amirul took extra steps in ensuring I'm well taken care of and going beyond simple cleaning efforts to make me feel comfortable in my accommodation. Btw, the laundry and shoe cleaning service were absolutely excellent - perfect results. Lastly, at the various restaurants I could try for dinner, I loved the food offerings, specialties both local and international. The staff presented everything with great care, the food was delicious such that I did not want to eat anywhere else during my short 3 days. A few names I recall - Canady, Sufien and Shah at the Beach Grill (I'm sorry, there were at least 3 more individuals who took great care of me as well) - they were so kind and welcomed me very warmly, serving a memorable outdoor seafood dinner right by the water. And a big thank you to Azza and Naufal who absolutely excelled at making my last evening at HaiYan restaurant extra special, a memory I will long cherish. They both took such time and care to connect with me personally, and recommend me many things beyond the food menu. I truly hope to see them again next time. The team is so blessed to have them! I can't say enough about how beautiful and special the setting of this property is, the rooms are wonderful and if you're so lucky to stay in a beachfront villa, those are the absolute dream - the private pool, the interior space and design, the sound of soft crashing waves in the background as you rest, various spaces to lounge and relax and such a spacious bathroom that it feels like a spa within your own place. Air conditioning worked so great, split between 3 different areas so I could exactly control how cool or warm I would like each space. Massive walk-in closet which will serve couples/families and longer stays super well. At the Spa, I had a quick 60-minute reflexology treatment with Shah, and she did a perfect job, helping me feel relaxed, refreshed and healthier as I walked out. I had a couple of small concerns, and she took great care in understanding and honoring my personal needs. Great pre/post-treatment facilities there as well! The design of the spa building is very cool, formed after traditional Malaysian fishing traps, amazing views from the Spa also! The lush greenery all around, cute monkeys strolling, playing and relaxing in the area, along with the vast ocean views across the property are something to remember and I cannot wait to be back!

Even though our stay was short, the entire team made sure we enjoyed every minute. From pre-arrival, Nadia, Malia and Bella were incredibly kind and helpful, answering all our questions, recommending food and spa experiences, and reassuring us about accessibility throughout the resort. From the moment we arrived in the rain, we were welcomed so warmly by Haikal, Bella, Ramy, Chef Juga and the team. We were also incredibly lucky to be upgraded to a Rainforest Villa, which was beautiful, spacious and perfectly immersed in nature, complete with our own pool, rainforest views and even a few monkey visitors. The amount of extras we got due to my Bonvoy Platinum Elite status was great! The butler service was fantastic. Everything was a text away, and they responded unbelievably fast. We could request a buggy and have it outside our villa within minutes. We also looked forward to our turndown service every day, as Megha who took care of our villa, was leaving us nice little notes, small treats and memorabilia to take back home with us. The food was excellent, especially our first experience of Malay cuisine at Langkawi Kitchen, and the breakfast buffet is absolutely not to be missed. Huge variety, amazing curries, fresh juices, pastries, healthy options, and fantastic Nasi Lemak. What really stood out, though, was the team’s genuine care. When one of my wheelchair tires punctured, they went out of their way to find someone on the island who could repair it and had it back to me incredibly quickly. That level of care meant so much. They also went out of their way to arrange a private accessible nature walk with Fadzli, who was incredibly knowledgeable and entertaining, and our spa experience with Shan and Ros was one of my favourite massages ever, in one of the most beautiful settings. A huge thank you to Nadia, Malia, Bella, Haikal, Ramy, Fadzli, Megha, Shan, Ros, Syed, Saifullah, Chef Juga and the entire team for taking such incredible care of us. You truly spoiled us rotten and made a short stay feel unforgettable. I can't wait to come back!
