Our stay at The Ritz-Carlton, Langkawi was truly exceptional and memorable. From the moment we arrived until our departure, every detail was thoughtfully taken care of, allowing us to fully relax and enjoy our time surrounded by the beautiful rainforest and sea. What made this stay particularly special was the genuine warmth and kindness of the team. We would like to express our heartfelt appreciation to Syasya, Anas,Awye, Alyssa, and all the wonderful Ladies & Gentlemen who looked after us. Our son, Eiji, is usually quite shy at first, but thanks to their gentle and welcoming approach, he quickly felt comfortable and opened up. Seeing him so happy and at ease meant a lot to us as parents. We were also touched by the thoughtful gestures and personal touches throughout our stay, including the warm messages and care from the Ritz Kids team. These moments made our experience not only luxurious, but truly meaningful. Every interaction felt sincere, never forced, which is something we deeply value. This was not just a beautiful resort stay, but a place where we felt genuinely cared for. We will truly miss Langkawi and hope to return again in the future. Thank you once again for such a wonderful experience.

Location is amazing, not far from airport, and close to all landmarks of island. We got a villa 2 which is with ocean view, it was amazing! Cleanliness, service 5 out of 5. Special thanks to our butler Anas! This young and dedicated to his work man made our staying there special and valuable, starting from welcome day till end of our journey 24/7. This man really amazed me and my family.

It feels like a small paradise on earth – the perfect place to unwind, relax, and fully switch off. Surrounded by nature and set in a stunning location, the hotel offers a truly special atmosphere. What made the stay exceptional was the incredibly friendly and dedicated staff. Everyone was consistently warm, attentive, and genuinely caring. Even when things didn’t go 100% perfectly at times, the team handled everything with such kindness and effort that it was easy to overlook the small imperfections. A special thank you to Qyaumm and Naufal from the Chinese restaurant – their warmth and genuine hospitality made a lasting impression. I would also like to highlight Sha from the spa, who provided a wonderful and memorable experience. The overall experience was exquisite. As a small suggestion, the complementary wellbeing offering could be expanded further with a more holistic approach. That said, this is truly a perfect retreat for anyone looking to relax and recharge. I would return anytime.

Breakfast offered a wide selection — from fresh tropical fruits and pastries to local Malaysian delicacies and international favorites. Each dish was prepared with care and high-quality ingredients. The seafood was particularly outstanding, fresh and flavorful, while the sunset dining experiences added a magical touch to the evenings. From the moment we arrived at The Ritz Carlton Langkawi to celebrate our anniversary - every single aspect has been faultless, beginning with a beautiful welcome platter making the check in effortless and relaxed. The resorts decor pays tribute to the natural surroundings and our room was stunning and made extra special with anniversary decoration and the best animal “towel art” I’ve seen (& I’ve stayed in a lot of hotels!!) see photo of the birds :) Every staff members we encountered is excellent at their jobs and clearly work extremely hard. Miraj continued to make our room spotless daily and provided us with a thoughtful treat every evening during turndown. Qutina, Tia and the team working during breakfast were so attentive and efficient at service. The food and drink was phenomenal, particularly breakfast! The team who work on the beach and pool areas keep you hydrated and provide continue ice cool fruit and refreshing shots throughout the day! This resort is outstanding and cannot fault a thing! The team are a credit to making this resort nothing short of EXCELLENT!! In terms of the location it was easy for us to reach from the Harbour having come from Koh Lipe and close to airport when flying to Kuala Lumpur ahead of flying back to London. Recommend to visit Mangroves, Cable Cart and for golfers the one beautiful Golf course Langkawi has to offer.
