Great location for us. We had the bed and breakfast option and walked the 10 minutes every evening to the Marina with its variety of eateries. Rooms are spacious and clean but ours looked a little ‘tired’. We made use of the Spa offer for our stay and I had a massage which was lovely. All of the staff seemed happy. We were always greeted with a smile and nothing seemed too much trouble.

Beautiful surroundings and so well kept and clean, superb staff, nice food. Would have done 5 stars but the buffet food was cold sometimes. We are booking again for next year!

This was our third visit so had emailed asking for a high floor room as using the stairs would be good exercise after all the lovely meals we would be having. On arrival at reception we were welcomed by a member of staff who recognised us from our stay in February who said that we had been given a room upgrade and to have a look at it but if we weren't happy to contact them and they would sort something out. The room was lovely and there was a chilled bottle of wine and some gorgeous chocolates laid out for us and a note from Carla and the guest experience team welcoming us home! Which I thought was a lovely touch. The next morning at the world cafe for breakfast Carla was on duty and she greeted us with genuine warmth and affection, this set the standard for the week every time we saw her particularly when she was at portafino which is our favourite restaurant. The food quality and choice was of the usual high standard and the table service excellent. Saturday 13th we had a terrible storm which left some parts of the hotel with very minor flooding and it also caused Oceania restaurant to be closed at times and also the sports bar so a couple of occasions. We booked the spa circuit for the week as before but was surprised to find out that the relaxation room was no longer in use which was a shame because after thrashing about in the hydro pool it was nice to relax and have either a hot or cold drink and a sweet or savoury snack ,if this was done as a cost saving personally I would prefer if you just charged a bit extra for the circuit pass, interested to hear your reasons for the change. After the storm on Saturday there was a couple of days where flaking paint deris lay around the walking areas by the sushi bar and the world cafe terrace which if you had just arrived in resort would have looked quite messy, seems you guys are not used to wet weather unlike us Brits. On returning to our room late afternoon on last day of holiday we found two lovely gift bags full of secrets merchandise and a handwritten note from Carla wishing us a safe journey home and a happy Xmas which was so kind of her.l said in a previous review that Carla is a rockstar in the way she goes about her duties and her interactions with guests but after this visit I think she is a true superstar and a real credit and asset to the Secrets brand. We would like to thankl the staff for all there hard work which ensured we had another fabulous stay at the resort. Looking forward to our next visit hopefully soon in the new year. Merry Xmas to you all.

The hotel was amazing, the scenery was beautiful. We had dinner one night at the hotel. The restaurant was called Gohan, the chef that night on 21st Dec was amazing and so friendly. He showed us the process of making the shushi and supported the content we took for it. The waiter also had great service. The only down side I would like to mention is, we had a water shortage for at least 3 hours from 12pm onwards. We were pre informed, however it was extremely frustrating and delayed the rest of our day.

Amazing hotel with truly amazing staff, the best we’ve ever experienced. Everyone was so friendly, kind, and welcoming; they treated us incredibly well from start to finish. The spa was absolutely incredible. We booked a massage and it was fabulous, deeply relaxing and perfectly done. The food was outstanding, honestly some of the best we’ve had. Every restaurant was perfect, with great variety and excellent quality. We couldn’t recommend Secrets Lanzarote more. An unforgettable experience!
