Hesperia Lanzarote

Gorgeous hotel. The amenities are fabulous. Staff very helpful and engaging. Restaurants all really good, great variety. We did preferred club and were more than happy with the service and extras that it gave us. The only improvements I would suggest are that they could do with more staff in the restaurants and bars as when it busy it can become a long wait and confusion with food orders. However, the staff that are there do there utmost to give the best service they can.

A beautiful hotel with great staff, the hotel is absolutely massive and it’s spotlessly clean everywhere you go. The vibe around the hotel is very chilled, ideal if your after pure relaxation.

Relaxing venue, ok for solo traveller. Make you feel welcome but don't over familiarise themselves with you. Rooms basic with necessary amenities. 15 minutes to local Harbour, nothing else in the area. Food choices in world restaurant and not restricted to eat in the different restaurants on site. Drinks good quality.

We had a lovely five-day stay at this hotel in September. The location is stunning, with beautiful sea views, a pool area and easy access to scenic hiking trails along the neighbouring cliffs. We spent our days relaxing by the pool, swimming and exploring Puerto Calero and nearby towns, which were all very enjoyable. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and well appointed. We felt welcomed by the reception staff on arrival, though the level of service seemed to dip slightly as our stay continued. We tried the buffet restaurant on our first night, but the experience was underwhelming. The staff were not particularly attentive, and we weren’t offered drinks or guided through the foods of the buffet, which made the meal feel a bit impersonal. A warm greeting or a brief introduction on the food being served would have made a big difference. After that, we chose to dine outside the hotel (aside from breakfasts), and enjoyed some fantastic restaurants in Puerto Calero and Playa Quemada. The biggest issue with the breakfast: I found a large amount of ants (or some sort of bug) in one of the big muesli tubs! A staff member hastily removed it, but this should NEVER happen in any hotel, especially a 5 star resort. The pool area was pleasant, though it could use more consistent maintenance. On a few occasions, we noticed tissue and plastic cups floating in the water, and there were some visible chips in the pool walls, which slightly detracted from the overall aesthetic. We also requested an ironing board, which took a follow-up call to arrive, but it was eventually delivered with only a minor delay. Overall, we had a relaxing and enjoyable stay in a peaceful setting. While a few service and maintenance issues prevented it from feeling like a full five star experience, the hotel remains very comfortable and makes for a satisfying getaway location.

Fabulous hotel in a great location really friendly peaceful atmosphere great staff and great overall experience would definitely return and highly recommend
