Hesperia Lanzarote

My husband and I spent a week here mid January and we loved it. Even though we could use all of the restaurant's, we did enjoy the world cafe buffet so ate in there. Breakfast was amazing, so much choice, my husband even had apple pie one morning. There was also plenty of choice for lunch and dinner. The grounds are beautifully kept, we enjoyed having a wander around each evening after dinner. All the staff were friendly and helpful from the moment we arrived to us leaving. Housekeeping kept our room lovely. Other reviews have commented on noise from other rooms but we never heard anything. It was a really relaxing and peaceful week, a walk to the nearby marina was perfect for working off some of the food we inevitably ate too much of. We loved it so much that we have already booked for February next year in one of the swim up suites, as a treat for our 23rd wedding anniversary, now the kids are grown up 😁 It feels like waiting for Christmas!

A relaxing experience from arrival until departure, which was the main aim of the stay. We mostly ate out at the nearby Puerto Calero resort restaurants (10 minutes walk away) which we felt offered more variety and better value, but the buffet breakfast was extensive and of excellent quality. A very nice room, spacious and with our ground floor veranda offering a glimpse of the sea it was considered very good value. Daily cleaning and replenishment of water etc. was very good. We are very likely to return again in the future.

So disappointing. Was here in only just October, and booked because of my fantastic previous experience. Now only 3 month later, from reception to every single step of the way, it has unfortunately been disappointing. If I knew this is what it was going to be like, I would have booked a 3 star in Puerto del Carmen and not forked out for a 5 store in Puerto Calero.. I’m sad to say, I’ll go elsewhere next time. The bar staff start clearing up at 11.15 and make you feel uncomfortable if you order a drink past this time although the bar is supposed to stop serving at 12. Not a nice environment at all. From someone that adored this hotel, I’m so sadly let down and will not be back

Lovely hotel, facilities and rooms were excellent and staff all very friendly. Great location, near to restaurants and bars.

Super hotel resort. Stayed in a pool view room which was excellent, clean and serviced daily. Only ate breakfast there which was good with plenty of options, the hot food tended to be warm rather than hot and it was best to have the items immediately after they were cooked. My wife enjoyed the spa for which she paid a one off fee for the whole stay which was the best way to use it. Only a ten minute walk into the port which had plenty of restaurants to eat at in the evening and a twice weekly market. Great pool area with plenty of sunbeds.
