This was my third visit, second time travelling solo and it won't be my last! All stress falls away as soon as I walk through the doors. It had been a stressful flight (thanks Claudia!) but that was all forgotten once I was checked in. A lovely note (and sweet treat) welcoming me back was waiting for me in the room - what a lovely touch. All staff are so professional but also warm and welcoming, it really is a resort you truly feel welcomed and appreciated. The spa is amazing - the treatments are some of my favourites. Irina on the spa reception always remembers you and is always so very helpful. I had 3 lovely treatments (!). Francesca and Esthe were brilliant. I also had another massage and had slight trepidations that it was with a man, but Andrik was excellent and there was no awkwardness at all. The resort was full but you are still acknowledged and recognised, which I find incredible. Of special mention for me was Carla who was so charming and helpful from my first night and each and every time our paths crossed afterwards. Also Paula and Julia are also worth a special mention. I can't wait to go back.

A great location, a lovely costal walk of about 20mins from Puerto Del Carmen and 5min walk from the marina in Puerto Calero, staff lovely, great food and well maintained. Room was lovely and the shower powerful. Only reason its not 5 stars was the length of time it took to resolve the heavy rain day we had which resulted in our room smelling of sewage to the point we couldnt stay in the room. The length of time being nearly the full day with us chasing the updates. Eventually offered, about 7hrs later, an alternative room by which point the smell had mostly gone. The upgrade to get the premier side, we were half board upgrade so didnt include food and drink in the restaurants, can see if you plan to stay on site that you'd save a lot of money on drinks and food (each alcoholic drink was around 12-18 Euros etc...). For what we unlocked half upgraded the lounge access was great, well stocked with food and drink. The premier pool if it was heated wasnt heated much but was still perfectly swimmable for us temperature wise

A bit of a mixed review. Our room was just amazing, very comfortable. Great balcony and ocean views. Was kept very clean by housekeeping. Entertainment was quiet and gentle and all the artists were talented. Food was nice. Breakfast great albeit fresh fruit selection could be more enticing. Evening meals were tasty. Canapes starters and cheese courses were so much better than the mains. The bits that let the hotel down No beach access to the sea. Swim platforms were closed during our whole stay (weather warnings initially but thought areas would open eventually). You can't access the sea from the beach by the hotel. Beach beds are taken up quickly so you have to be sharp. The swimming pools are nice and the areas around them are pleasant. Beds are reserved with towels despite being informed that this was not allowed. They're were plenty beds but premium (sunny spots) usually taken. Sunbeds further away from the pool have thin uncomfortable mattresses. They should all be the same! 2 of the bars were closed when we were there but opened for private events. Quite frustrating especially when one was positioned really nicely on the beach. Some cocktails not great.. made with mixers rather than a cocktail shaker. Wine choices are lovely. Frustrating things to let it down, more a 4 star experience.

The hotel is lovely, well maintained and staff are welcoming and helpful. Hotel was very busy at peak mealtimes, and staff coped well with the high volume. The pool area seems well spaced out and didn’t feel overcrowded We didn’t use the preferred status, but there are spaces kept for this category of guest.

This was a reasonable experience and there was nothing inherently wrong but unfortunately it neither lived up to other 5 star hotels that I've stayed in nor other all including hotels that I've stayed it and therefore just felt a bit lacking in both respects. I stayed in one of the swim-up suites which was nice but it was significantly lacking privacy because for some reason there was much less hedge compared to a lot of the other rooms and was right next to the smoking area for the preferred pool so I kept getting wafts of cigarette smoke which was very unpleasant. The preferred lounge was ok but nothing compared to others I've seen and the food was really not up to standard and also lacked choice - i ended up walking to the local marina to get food.
