This hotel is the second Secrets resort we have stayed at and it is just as wonderful as the first (Secrets Bahia Real Resort & Spa, Fuerteventura). The staff were amazing, incredibly helpful, polite and always there when you needed them. Most notably special mentions go to both Laura’s and Valentino in the preferred Portofino restaurant although all the staff were lovely really. Jorge and many others in the World Cafe, Harish on reception as well as Yoel in the Piano bar. To be really honest there were so many helpful, friendly and conscientious staff, it would be impossible to name them all. It was super clean, a little bit tired in odd places but nothing to concern people about. The food was excellent throughout all the restaurants we visited. We were Preferred Club which was well worth it and we would recommend people to choose it as it opens up a lot of plus’s for your stay - a la carte breakfasts etc, club lounge, stocked minibars just to name a few. A la carte was particularly nice as being disabled, it gave my wife a break and it was nice to sit down together when eating. I only have one gripe as a disabled individual, I also know that it may sound a bit selfish but the access to Oceana for wheelchairs is not great - the access link path is made from volcanic rock and very, very difficult to cross and we were worried about damaging the wheelchair to be honest. Also, the Barefoot/Bluewater grill restaurants have no ramp access, so if you are not able to walk you really can’t use them. To be fair to the hotel though, there was a lot of other places to eat which we did, but it would have been nice to have tried the Barefoot/Bluewater grills. Putting that aside, this is a glorious hotel with super attentive staff and an absolutely fabulous place to stay and so recommend it, we will certainly be back that is for sure. Thank you to everyone at Secrets Resort and Spa Lanzarote, we loved it!

One of the best hotels in Lanzarote. We decided to go Privilege and we would recommend it. We had our own pool with the bar service which was lovely. The food here is amazing. We tended to use the Italian restaurant most nights which was superb. We had breakfast in the Privilege area which was absolutely brilliant. Staff all so kind and friendly. We had our mini bar stocked every day with soft drinks and beers. It is quite an expensive hotel but worth it if you are celebrating a special occasion. This was our second stay here. We intend to return again very soon.

Had a fantastic week here so peaceful and quiet, very relaxing. We stayed in a swim up preferred club which was fantastic. Lovely food and drinks and amazing staff. Would definitely come back .

I'm a convert to the all-inclusive sunlounger-flopping spa-going sunny break now! I really felt the hotel looked after us, especially when we arrived after dinner and were provided with a meal in our room without even asking. The April sun was hot, the winds delicious, the pools clean and peaceful, the bed comfy (and HUGE), the spa relaxing, the gym well-equipped.... and there was simply tons of delicious food that I failed to sample all of because my stomach isn't that big! All staff were friendly (shout out to Reuben!) and we did not want for anything. My advice is not to bother paying for the 'Preferred Club' or a swim-up room. Just get the normal half board (no alcohol included) and you'll have just as good a time. Buy a week's spa pass and go to the free cocktail making, and you're sorted for all your needs - bargain! We had a late breakfast and did not need lunch. Walk 15 mins to the marina and buy something small if needed. I had a wonderful time and will happily consider returning now I know it's high quality and there's healthy options for food when I need them.
