Hesperia Lanzarote

Ok but for the price would have expected better service with housekeeping and no alcohol free choices in bars. Some bar staff were quite rude when serving. Staff in buffet restauramt were very nice though. Mixed bag.

We have just returned from a wonderful and relaxing 6 night stay at Secrets Hotel and Resort during which time we celebrated our anniversary. All the staff whom we met were so very welcoming and friendly and left a lasting impression. We stayed in a Preferred Club room, on an all inclusive basis, the food was delicious. The hotel was cleaned to a high standard. We noticed a sign as you entered the resort ‘Welcome Home’, we shall definately be going ‘ Back Home’ next year and are in the process of booking it. Thank you all for an amazing stay. It We would definately recommend this hotel.

Beautiful location, fantastic hotel, food and staff. The rooms are really good size and beds are very comfortable. Also a variety of fun activities to do everyday so you will never be bored

I've stayed at Secrets twice in the last 12 months but what I didn't expect was such a warm welcome back! My friend is currently staying at the resort. I'm in the area for an extended trip, so decided to hire an apartment. I joined my friend for breakfast a couple of times in the last week and popped in today to see her and relax togetjer for an hour or so. I was immediately recognised by a member of the reception team and also my one of the guest information managers. I was genuinely taken aback by the warmth of the welcome I received. Hugs, personal details remembered, just fantastic service. It was quite unbelievable. I feel bad for not recalling the names of the individuals involved but just wanted to say thanks for making me feel so valued and special. I'll be back to stay for sure!!

The resort is on the sea front, fairly remote with a 10 minute walk to the Marina. The resort was adult only which made it very peaceful, although busy the overall feel was not crowded. My room was lovely with a fabulous view of the sea and pools. The room had a coffee machine for espresso, tea etc… all items refreshed daily. The minibar had drinks and snacks included also refreshed daily. I had breakfast included and was in the preferred room and so had access to the lounge which was stocked with drinks and snacks included also. This was regularly refreshed throughout the day and open from 7am - 7pm so did not need to buy lunch and had dinner a few nights only as for me snacks were sufficient. I did order room service one night and this was disappointing. All restaurant food was very good quality and good value for money. I went to Yoga and Pilates classes with Isabel daily and this was the best part of the day, the classes were very relaxing. They would suit beginners mostly. I enjoyed the spa facilities on a few occasions, the spa had multiple experiences sauna, steam room, experience showers, cold and hot jacuzzi as well as infra red loungers. The spa pool circuit was great with lots of different jets all pretty powerful. I would definitely come back to this resort, staff all very friendly and welcoming. All bookings for all classes and activities could be accessed on the app although this did freeze a few times. WiFi available everywhere. Only issues I found were the noise levels when furniture is moved around in adjacent or rooms above. Should use padding on chair legs. Also the toilet did make noises possibly when another room was flushing and I did hear other toilet users which was a little disconcerting. Could benefit from sound proofing. Not enough to put me off staying again.
