Reviews for Caesars Palace

Octavius is incredible

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 6 hours ago

I stayed at the Octavius tower . Octavius Tower is indeed a bit farther from the main lobby, but honestly, I didn’t mind the walk one bit. The room was gorgeous, the view was spectacular, and it had a quiet, peaceful vibe. Plus, there’s a Starbucks right downstairs—super convenient! I also have to give a special shout-out to April at the front desk. She was so helpful and welcoming, and she really made my stay even better. Overall, I loved it!

Gorgeous property, abysmal customer service, failed to have room at check in time

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 17 hours ago

The good parts first: the room was spacious, clean, updated, with a great requested fountain view. The common areas of the hotel were immaculately maintained. The restaurants are amazing. The valet service was prompt and courteous. The unforgivably bad part is that our room wasn’t ready until 4:30 with a 3pm check in (which we confirmed via mobile check in) and an 11am checkout, Do the math: for the 20 hours for which we were paying, Caesar’s cheated us out of 7.5% of our time with no offer of compensation. They were not hesitant to remind us that if we checked out after 11am, they were going to charge us far more than 7.5% though. They also were not hesitant to inform us that if we moved any items in the minibar, they were charging us a 19.99 restocking fee. Clearly, Caesar’s has not grasped the concept that the path to the luxury end of the market is convincing the customer that they are valued and welcomed. I felt as if we were mere cattle from whom they were trying to milk every last ounce. It was our first time at Caesars and could very well be our last. They may have one of the prettiest properties on the strip but they need serious lessons in customer service.

Beautiful bathtub

Palace tower. Dusty closet doors where the venting system is. Towels smell like food. Dirty door. Flooring near bathroom the staples from carpet poked my foot. Dust lanterns The bathroom was very beautiful and the sinks. Pillows were small.

Daniel at the Front Desk Made All the Difference

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 20 hours ago

I am currently staying at Caesars Palace for a conference, and while the hotel is beautiful, the property is extremely large and requires quite a bit of walking to get from place to place. I arrived around noon and was told I could not check in until 4:00 p.m. unless I paid an early check-in fee. I decided instead to walk around and familiarize myself with the property, but by about 2:30 p.m. I was very tired. I returned to the front desk and had the pleasure of speaking with an associate named Daniel. From the moment he greeted me, he showed genuine empathy for how tired I was after walking the property for several hours. Daniel immediately looked to see what he could do to help and was able to find me a room. Although I did pay the $35 early check-in fee, he kindly upgraded me to a larger room. His demeanor, professionalism, and kindness were in stark contrast to my first interaction earlier in the day, which unfortunately felt short and dismissive. Daniel completely changed my impression of the hotel. He made sure to explain how I could have my bags brought to the room and told me that if I needed anything during my stay, I should not hesitate to come directly to him. He even gave me his card. This is exactly the kind of associate who makes guests feel welcome and valued, and who inspires people to want to return. I truly hope his management team recognizes what an asset he is to your organization, because his thoughtful service made a lasting positive impression on me.
