Hidden Fees at Caesars Palace Las Vegas

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 7 hours ago

My wife and I stayed at Caesars Palace Feb 2026, Hotel is beautiful, Service was awful. We requested house keeping so garbage’s can be taken out and some new towels. They said they would be there and never showed up. We placed a couple bottles of water in the fridge in our room and put their bottles back into fridge when we left. We were charged $22 for a “restocking fee” even though we placed them back inside. Contacted their Customer service and was told they would not reimburse it as it’s a restocking fee not a using the product fee. No signs anywhere said do not open the fridge or you will be billed. I wont use any of their locations again. I will use the MGM / Luxor as we had a great experience with them.

Fabulous 60th birthday!

I had an absolutely wonderful experience at Caesar’s Palace for my 60th bday. Staff was warm, friendly and welcoming. I was upgraded to a better view and Donato even sent a bottle of champagne 🍾 to the room! I would recommend Caesar’s Palace anytime!

Disappointing stay at Caesars Palace

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 day ago

I stayed at Caesars Palace two weekends ago for a work event, and unfortunately the experience was disappointing. None of our rooms were ready at check-in, which created a frustrating start for our team. My room eventually became available, but the view was essentially of walls and an engineering area. Several of my colleagues had it worse and had to wait most of the day before their rooms were ready. What made it more frustrating was the lack of communication. Instead of explaining what was going on, we were simply told the hotel was fully booked and they needed people to check out. Later we heard there were staffing issues with housekeeping. That would have been helpful to know upfront. The property itself feels dated, and the casino floor has a very strong smoke smell that unfortunately carries into the guest rooms. Another frustrating aspect was the minibar setup. There are warnings not to even touch the water or snacks on the dresser because moving them can trigger a charge. A bottle of Fiji water was $20, which felt excessive and honestly a bit like a trap. Overall, this was not the level of experience we expected from such a well-known property, especially for a business event. Unless required for work, neither I nor several members of my team would choose to stay here again.

Las Vegas is killing its self.

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 day ago

I stayed at Caesars Palace for a weekend with a friend of mine. I was terribly disappointed in how they charge their fees. 50.00 for valet parking per day. No compliment coffee in the room. You need to buy the kerig cups from the mini bar. No coffee at the bars, bartender says you need to buy it. No hand soap available in the rooms . No toiletries, only large bottles of cheap body soap, shampoo and conditioners. Almost 11.00 for a Pepsi 12oz. It was loud and uncomfortable in the casino. I have been coming to Las Vegas for many years. This is the first time I was ashamed of the greed and the cheapest good that this "fancy", expensive hotel demonstrated. Las Vegas corporations are killing Las Vegas with their greed.
