About the Hotel

Twenty-six of the fifty largest hotels in the world are in Las Vegas. Why, then, is The Cromwell Las Vegas causing such a stir? Clocking in at just 188 rooms, it stands in the shadows of neighboring Bellagio, Caesars Palace and Bally’s. And that is exactly why it’s so appealing to guests seeking the intimate, refined experience of a boutique hotel right in the throbbing heart of the Vegas Strip. There’s a touch of a vintage bordello feel to the hotel, accentuated by leather headboards, vampy damask wallpaper and classic showgirl sketches.

Amazing drinks, EPIC SERVICE

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 week ago

I have a very specific drink that I ask for. It is fairly uncommon, but the bartender not only knew it, but gathered the actual correct ingredients instead of using what was available. Every time I come to this place, they go above and beyond without fear of perjury Leo and Rachel were AMAZING

Madness at the Cromwell

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 week ago

We make it a point to stop at our favorite Cromwell bar at least once each year during our March Madness trip. Angelina takes great care of us every time. What really amazed me this time was the number of people that stopped to say “Hi” and/or grab a drink specifically from her. Each one was like a family member to her. She either has the largest family I’ve ever seen or she’s just really really good at what she does.

Disappointed stay

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 weeks ago

Honestly I was very disappointed. There was mold on the ceilings in the shower. The ceiling was rusted and had some unknown dried liquid splashed on it in the bathroom. The wall next to the shower was falling apart and in disrepair. The lighting in the room was very poorly lit. Some is the ceiling lights were working only half the time. While I was gambling the waitress only once came around and asked if I wanted a drink and that was in the morning. I was there for five days. When I arrived to check in I had to find staff in the backroom because they were not at the front counter. Touch and hold a clip to pin it. Unpinned clips will be deleted after 1 hour. I have been to Las Vegas several times and I can say this was the worst stay of all of them. I had high hope because it advertised well. I realize you are rebranding and remodeling but everything I mentioned should have been cared for by the staff. I assume the same staff will be there when it becomes the Vanderpump so I am doubtful I will stay there ever again. For what it is worth my room number was 735. Maybe someone will see everything I said was accurate and address them for the future guests.

Don’t be put off!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 weeks ago

I stayed at The Cromwell in Las Vegas with my husband for his 40th and overall had a really enjoyable experience. The location is fantastic—right in the heart of the Strip—making it easy to get around. Having a Starbucks on site was also a big plus for quick coffee runs in the morning. Before arriving, I was a bit unsure after reading some mixed reviews, but I’m happy to say our stay turned out to be a positive one. The rooms have a quirky, classic Vegas style which gave them a bit of personality. While they are slightly on the tired side, everything was functional and comfortable. The bed was cosy, the TV was good, and I particularly loved the bathroom and shower. The added vanity area was a great touch and made getting ready much easier. The only downside was that we didn’t receive housekeeping during our stay, despite requesting it at check-in. That said, it didn’t cause too much inconvenience as there were plenty of towels and toiletries provided, which lasted us the full four nights. All in all, a solid stay in a great location with a unique vibe—just a small improvement needed on housekeeping.
