Gorgeous Room and Great Staff
I attended a 5-day work conference, and I'm so glad that I stayed at this hotel for my 1st trip to Las Vegas! My room was amazing (that soaker tub was EVERYTHING); the night-time view was incredible and the staff were very kind and helpful. I will definitely stay at The W when I return for a pleasure trip!

Poor Service ! Just casino with W logo. Avoid this hotel or adjust your expectations!!
Check in at 6:30 am, and call the front desk five times. They can’t help with luggage. Finally, we had to move and carry all our luggage ourselves. When I questioned the front desk staff again, they told me it wasn’t their department and they couldn’t help. This is a casino with a W logo, not a W hotel. I will never return. By the way, I’m an ambassador member of Marriott.

Feels expensive
The hotel is super clean , love the scent they use throughout the hotel. The room are a pretty good size

Be mindful that any items within the refrigerator or mini bar are on sensors. So if you pick them up, you will be charged for it
Do not pick up items from the refrigerator or the mini bar. If you do, you will be charged for items that you did not use. The items are on sensors. And the hotel does not tell you that until you get your bill. I even called to have the charges removed from my bill. And the front desk worker said that they would go and check the fridge and the mini bar to ensure that the items were not used since no one had occupied the room since my departure. I still got charged for those items. It is a total scam. I was charged $135 for items that I DID NOT USE.

Great location
Great Hotel. The early check-in process was not good. I sat in the lobby for 4 hours after asking for an early check-in. The hotel itself was great besides that one issue. Also there was no acknowledgement of the issue. It was kind of a that's the way it is attitude. The property itself was great especially being there for 4 days on business. The lobby bar Rythm and Riffs and DJT4A provided entertainment that was better than any club on the strip when you are there for business. Citizens Kitchen is a must visit, get the BLT+A! Kumi had the best sushi and the bar and the bar tenders were top notch. Make sure to order the Ichigo Nights drink (I told them to hold the strawberries) . The bartender (male) on Tuesday night made an amazing drink. There were renovations to the lobby, but it didn't interfere with the experience.
