Lobby is all boarded up because of construction. The rooms are in worse shape than the lobby. The rooms need upgrading - they’re dingy with broken and stained features. Curtains were disgusting. Carpet was disgusting, shower was disgusting. I got charged for using coffee cups on the wet bar simply because I bumped the tray and activated the sensors when I was trying to wash my hands. The hotel is crazy far from the strip. It’s only worth it if you’re willing to pay extra for a low tier hotel and uber everywhere. Can’t even get resolution for anything because they don’t answer the phones.

When we finally checked in AFTER driving around the hotel for about an hour because all entrances except one were blocked off for concerts getting out, I was told we were "upgraded" to a different room- no description of the room or the fact that it was materially different than the original room we had reserved. We asked the front desk agent where to go to park and even after she consulted with a manager we still received wrong directions. We probably spent another hour just finding parking and then trying to find our hotel room in the correct tower. Then by the time we got to our room (about 1am since we got in around 11p) we discover the "upgrade" was for a 1 king bed with a rollaway. Instead of going on another quest again to find another room (we were initially told no other rooms were available), we took the comps the manager offered and stayed in the room. I could feel every spring in that rollaway bed that night. Shower had no body wash. Mini fridge lock apparently did not function such that my 2-yr old kept removing things from it. We will never stay at this hotel again and likely will not visit Vegas again based on this and prior experiences, but this was the last straw.

Dirty rooms, staff that dont care, you pay for every little thing, atrocious parking and my keys continued to malfunction. Go to a resort like Venetian. For about the same price you get much better service and accommodations with a better rewards program. MGM stopped caring

We stayed three nights at the W hotel at Mandalay Bay got NO room service during the entire stay and had to call the front desk multiple times for clean towels. Hotel itself was nice and clean but service was terrible. And they are currently under reconstruction/remodeling so it is a little confusing. Overall probably the worst lack of service we’ve experienced in Vegas.

Horrible check in, system cannot generate keys for guests…20 min. and still waiting. Hotel has no problem taking your money though…Be prepared for inefficiency!
